Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	I-751 November 2010 Filers	Hello, One more November filer. The package has been resting on my desk for almost one month, UNTIL I found out that the fee was going up in 3 days . We just sent it. I'm totally relaxed about the process, nothing to do with the CR1 nightmare!! Oh, and the first proof of bona fide was a GIANT copy of our ultrasound. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	IMPORTANT ADVICE	Hello! I would like to give you some important advice. When you get your CR1 and come to America, within 2 years you need to remove conditions on residency (get your 10-year greencard). I see that many people have big trouble getting enough proof of bona fide relationship. My advice: start now 'producing' it: get bank accounts together, health and other types of insurance, always include both names on the rent contract and mortgage, file taxes jointly, make sure both your names appear in official documents. Start collecting important evidence like this so when the moment comes you are prepared, Many people don't have any of this, and have big trouble later. It was hard, we had some arguments, I had to show him this forum and tell him that we can't 100% trust lawyers, what they (don't) tell you when you call USCIS, etc . They are earning a lot of money, and when there's money... That's why I think it's really important to read other people's real experiences and advice on this. It's more easy to bring a PIANO to the US than to have your foreign spouse with you! I always say to my husband: my country may not have the $$$$$$ yours has, but we DO have a fundamental right: you marry a foreign HUMAN BEING, and you come together, and complete the entire process IN the country together, and no one has the right to make you pay that immoral amount of money and wait MONTHS, sometimes years!!!!!!!!
