United Kingdom	Have you used Transferwire to move funds from US to UK?	Hello All,   I am looking at the best option to transfer funds from the US to the UK on a monthly basis. I have seen Xoom mentioned on this forum before and have read user reviews which are good but Transferwire had much better user ratings.   Has anyone used Transferwire? United Kingdom	Is it possible to skip NVC and go direct to London consulate?	Hello Everyone,   I received my NOA2 approval email on July 5th. Today my NOA2 letter arrived. I had expected the letter to outline the next steps in the process with the NVC but there is no mention of them in the letter I received. Instead it says "the above petition has been approved and forwarded to the above consulate (London)."   The NOA2 email did say "For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. United Kingdom	Required documentation: Ex & non-immigrating children	Hello, I am confused about the required documentation to bring to the interview and hope someone can help to provide some clarification. My fiancé is divorced and has two children. His children will not be relocating with him. They will remain in the UK with their mother. Here are my questions: 1) Is he required to bring his children's birth certificates with him to his interview even though they are not immigrating with him? 2) Is he required to bring his marriage certificate from his previous marriage? United Kingdom	What constitutes a CEAC status update change or general status change	Hello Everyone,   Happy to say we are on the home stretch. "Packet three" submitted, medical complete on Monday and DS-2001 in the post tomorrow. Now we sit and wait for the interview.   My question is what constitutes a status update change or general status change on CEAC? Mine has said "ready" since the date "packet three" was sent which was July 25th. I realize the medical results have not yet arrived but clearly "packet three" has arrived and I would have thought the July 25th "status update date" would have changed once the "packet three" arrived. United Kingdom	Requesting a change of interview date	Hello All,   Interview letter finally arrived today but the embassy scheduled it during a time he stated he was traveling internationally on business so we need to request a change of interview date. So deflating!   The interview letter says that the request of change must be done in writing. I am wondering if we can do it over email or if it must be sent via the post. Does any one know?    Has anyone ever had to request a change? United Kingdom	Approx. time to complete interview (in and out)	Hello All,   Finally have an interview date of Nov. 5 at 8:30 a.m. after having to reschedule the original date given.   New date is great as I had a trip pre-booked to the UK so  now I can attend the interview with him.   We were meant to be in Scotland on the 4th but will now fly there on the 5th after he completes the interview. United Kingdom	Should I email about interview date?	Calling DOS seems to be beneficial for some and not for others. It's a roll of the dice really. For me it was a good experience. We had to reschedule our original interview date as London scheduled it during a time he specifically communicated that he was out of the country on business travel. We issued a change of interview request via the "contact form" and within two days we had a new status update. United Kingdom	DS-3025 from Knightsbridge	Hello Everyone,   Thankfully we have completed the K1 process with visa being issues on Nov. 7th. So now I am trying to education myself on the adjustment of status (AoS) process which is coming up soon. For those who have not read up on this, I would recommend you do as it is a little more complex than the K1 process and more expensive.   Question for those who had their medical at Knightsbridge. Were you given a form called DS-3025 (it's related to your vaccination record) at the end of your medical? My fiance doesn't recall receiving the DS-3025 and we need it for his AoS. If you use Firefox or Google chrome browser and download a plugin called Hola it'll act as a proxy server and let you watch stuff on bbc iplayer and 4 on demand. Also as bbc streams it's tv live you can watch that too, you just need to figure the time difference. Hope this helps. Gail83. Thank you!!! It worked.
