Hi,

I am filing an I-129F and am the petitioner. I have 3 posession arrests over 20 years. No violence on my record. No drug sales. So I have to check YES to the question. My question is how much detail do I have to send along with the I-129F. I was going to send my judgements of conviction. I am 50 years now and totally straight. The other question is will this quash my attempt to bring my fiancee here? She knows all about everything. No secrets. It is obvious I don't know much about this subject. Someone please give me a few pointers.

Thank you.

My attorney falsely told me not to send in court records until they were asked for. Now it has been 2 weeks since I sent back the RFE, so be sure to send the court records with your application. The USCIS site says I have up to a 60 day wait now. At least the lawyer is through Mexican / American Ministries and only cost a 80 dollar donation. But when I first filed the Attorney sent papers to Nebraska which cost me 3 1/2 months time since they did not send it to California. Now is another 2 weeks so far since she did not add court papers to original filing. I should have trusted myself to file it, but i wanted someone to make everything was in order.. So my advice is send court papers in with application GOOD LUCK TO U

Yes, I have understood that as well. You weren't the original poster, however I answered the OP by saying to send in the police reports with the waiver. That was my understanding.

Glad that you didn't lose much money, but unfortunately you did lose all that time! All the best that things move much more quickly now.

Thanks Carla things finally did start moving again and got the notice from NVC on 11-22 08

Felons on parole get petitions approved. Answer tha questions and send the court records required and don't expect any related delays. Inform your fiance or spouse.

I think that if you purchase with credit card from Philippine Airlines they require that your GF has a copy of the credit card and a photo of you to pick up ticket. They also offer first time immigrant discount GOOD LUCK

hello everyone! I just want to ask if I can do the CFO before my interview? Isn't PDOS and CFO the same? Please enlighten me because I'm confused about the two. Thanks!

I do not know anything about PDO but my GF went to her CFO months ago and we do not have NOA #2 yet. However I believe that she has to get it stamped after the interview.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsAny other May/08 K1 Filer still no NOA2?
QUOTE (stingconcert @ Sep 26 2008, 04:41 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Hi all:

I submitted to the Vermont Service center my !29f for K1 visa April 30th 2008 and Received my NOA1 on May 9th and had the last posted "update" from USCIS on June 27th, 2008. I have read others who have already received their NOA2 and even passed through the National Service center.

I called the toll free number and they just directed me to the processing timelines which says Feb 1 2008! I read here that some vermont processors were moved to citizenship applications and will shift back but...nothing in three months makes me sleepless in CT when others are farther along!

Any advice....who do I call to push the paper?

Sleepless in CT

I submitted 129 F to California Service Center on May 1 and no response yet so be patient like us all good.gif

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsIgor's list Vs. CSC estimated wait times.....
QUOTE (ErikaAndHamit @ Oct 9 2008, 11:19 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Hello everyone. I file my I-129 back on mAy 29th and was just wondering how accurate is Igor's list compared to UCICS' estimated wait times? Anyone know?
According to Igor's list my NOA2 should be coming within a few weeks, but looking at the official estimated wait times at CSC I am looking a few months headbonk.gif Which is more accurate? To me it seems like Igor's list is more real life (albeit a small sample of real life) whereas UCICS is more like a very time-padded loose guesstimate to cover their A**es in case they take longer than the promised times...I dunno. helpsmilie.gif
What is everyone's experiences or thoughts on this?

Thanks, Erika

I filed May 5 and Visa Journey's estimated between Sept. 29 and Oct 8. The USCIS site said they sent me an REF on Oct. 7 so Visa Journey is very close to actual time

Our Petition was filed this past April, we have heard nothing from it, this past Monday my attorney called the USCIS and got through to a supervisor, and had gotton a inquiry done on our case. They told my attorney that they are presently working on our petition. and that there would be a decision made within 45 days, and if we hear nothing within the 45 days to call back and give them the ECT number they gave us. Can anyone tell me if they have ever been through having to make a inquiry done. if so is a decision usually made before the 45 days are up.

WOW and I thought ours was slow. It took ours 192 days for the NOA 2 and we had one RFE. I filed MAY 5 2008.... Good luck to you

Do u know which part of the Philippines Leafil lives?

I looked to find out where Leafil was from, but most stories were the same one from the Associated Press. So I guess she was from here as she was one of us. Her journey was cut much to short. God be with her....Amen crying.gif rose.gif

We, don't call it the misinformation line for anything. wink.gif

I've not once heard from anyone who sent something and actually had the changes made at the uscis (petition) stage. In fact, i've not heard of anyone ever being told that over the phone either.

If you do find someone that has, i'd be curious to know how it worked out.

good luck.

I guess I was lucky when I got an RFE. When I received the NOA 1 I called and told them that Edna's last name was spelled wrong. I was told they would correct it, but when I got the RFE it was still wrong. I sent a separate piece of paper with the name change along with the RFE info and they finally got it right. We have the NOA 2 now just waiting for Embassy in Manila I guess whistling.gif Wish us luck
