Pq hj eh dia 24 soh e ontem foi feriado aqui o Rio.... 21/04 foi domingo nao dava tempo de chegar tudo no consulado.... Galera, ela ficou tão emocionada em receber a data da entrevista que escreveu errado e eu não tive tempo de voltar aqui e corrigir também ontem. Espero que o processo chegue no consulado até sexta ai é só esperar a data da entrevista O meu NOA2 foi de 23/04. Será que demora? Falei com uma menina no grupo do facebook chamado kazetes-vistos que teve o NOA2 de 21/04 e hoje recebeu a data da entrevista... Nossa! Muito rápido! A entrevista dela será dia 15/05... K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	CSC APPROVAL	Last night I received a notice that my address had changed (it had not), but I figured approval (or RFE) would be imminent. This morning I awoke to the MOST BEAUTIFUL news ever.....APPROVED!!!!!!! I had written my congresswoman a few weeks ago, whom had followed up with me in the last week when my case was assigned to an officer. Whether this helped my petition to be approved now, or if this would have occurred anyway, I do not know. Contacting her, if nothing else, gave me some peace. I just got home, checked the USCIS website (tenth time of the day) and there it was! Post Decision Activity On April 24, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). I cannot believe! It's such a relieve after nearly 7 months!!! I just hope all run smoothly at NVC and the interview! Thank you so much for the support and all the topics you've all written, complaining or sharing your concerns. It helped me a lot to go through all this hard time from CSC. For those who are still waiting, I just wish the most you can get your approval ASAP!! Congrats, guys! Maybe our interview will be at the same time! Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyy I have a question... Did you guys receive any email or text or letter or anything with the NOA2 number? Also, at this stage it highly depends on how each embassy (the Immigration Visa Unit) is prioritizing cases. I can infer from historical data that they must be dealing with a higher volume of applications, because I should have heard from them by now.    We are so over the waiting. I keep calling home to see if anything has arrived... It's so frustrating! Just to think that at the beginning of this process we expected to be together by early April makes me laugh.   Patience and good luck!   And we thought about late May... Today, about 10 minutes ago, we got our NOA2!!!!!!!!! Best part was that we were together to share in this awesome news. We received an RFE on the 24th and responded the next day via Priority Mail. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	September 2012 filers	I am Sept. 16th filer and was planning on flying to visit my fiance mid March. But I am also planning on flying down for the interview. Would it be worth it to hold off on visiting in March, or should I plan on the wait for NOA2 plus time for interview to be long enough that two trips aren't so bad. This sporadic approval makes in almost impossible to plan anything, I would love to visit but also don't want to turn around and fly straight back in a month. Any advice would be great. Thanks. Well, Ant&Max my fiancee is coming down to Brazil to visit me. Our NOA1 is Sept 10th. I guess it's a risk but he'll come so we can have our engagement lunch with my family and spend a little time together after 8 months apart. Our tickets to US are bought already. He was able to find pretty good prices on January and he bought them a little bit more expensive coz we won't have to pay to change the dates. I wish all of us luck! They advised it takes a little over 6 months ( I'll be 5 months a little bit after you and I asked my fiancee to call them as well... K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Engagement Ceremony	Hello Everyone!! Me & my fiance met in August 2012 in India. After 10 days of his vacation he went back to US. Since then we were communicating over phone, e-mails, chatting. Finally in December 2012, he proposed me over a phone & we decided to take our relationship to the next level. (This happened while he was in US & me in India) So he applied for K1 visa in the month of January. Now he is planning to come for a vacation in April 2013 & we intend to have a small engagement ceremony with our closed ones. My question is, whether having a engagement ceremony after applying for K1 visa will affect the process? Do we have to take any extra care while arranging the ceremony? Need suggestions... No problem at all... According to Brazil Consulate, you could even get married, but RELIGIOUS ceremony ONLY! As an example, I'm having my engagement lunch on March 29th.
