K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	very upset about CSC	Well my SO called CSC last Wednesday and was told that we should get approval within one to two days and if not to call back today........ I was so happy !!! Well as nothing came he called back today to be told to wait at least another 30 days before calling again !!!!!!!!! I am so upset and depressed ...he called me from work but I will tell him to call congressman if we do not have anything by next Wednesday ... You might get lucky but as you have guests and family involved I would not take the chance to plan wedding date. We ourselves plan to get married on 08/08/08 and not so sure it will go ahead. We personally only send 1 biographical form for each. Unfortunately for Sara, they keep changing the story everytime she calls CSC ....They did that with our case also ....we were told at the beginning of march that case was on adjudicator desk since 02/20 ....one of the last time my SO called in April he was told that case had been on adjudicator desk for 1 week and that we should hear from them soon I am just glad that unlike lovely Sara we got RFE ....at least I am sure they are / have been working on our case. CSC has received our RFE reply since Tuesday, so we are hoping for something next week. I hope you're doing something to get that money back and alert the right people so this 'so-called' lawyer can't do this to someone else. In all honesty, I realize this is a personal choice but you really don't need a lawyer for the process. The guides here and instructions right on the USCIS webiste are very clear. I have heard more legal horror stories than anything when it comes to this process. A sad testament to lawyers! good luck Kim and Russ are right ...why taking a lawyer?
