IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Proceduresany words of wisdom for us?
Hi,

I hope this works out for you. It is a concern to us too as my husband resides in the UK and sold his house in the USA. The only factor that we hope will qualify him as a sponser, is that he has not given up his job in the US. He has continued to work for his company in Chicago via the internet. After reading about your experience may be we should ask his Dad to fill out the forms as a co sponser just in case.

Good Luck

Sarah

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresK1 visa interview in London
Hi,

We are awaiting our visa interview in May and I can't believe I have only just found this website. The interview will be in London and I wondered if anyone had any advice about what extra things we should take with us. The letter that we had said that we couldn't take backpacks into the embassy so we are limited to the amount we can carry. We are also hoping to get the Affidadit of support notorised at the embassy. Does anyone know if they will do that on the day or if we need to go in before the interview?

I have so many questions because I am starting to panic! We have bought a house and just hope we will actually get to live in it!!

Thanks Sarah
