IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Applied for 1-130 waiting and find out it takes another 6 months?	K3 visa is free to apply when you have a pending I-130. It is easy to apply for with minimal evidence since you already have a pending case.    I would say you should because if your I-130 gets approved before K3 then they throw away K3 but if K3 gets approved first then you have to do AOS when she comes over here   Best	adil1988	Not Telling	India	2013-10-12 09:26:00

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	Okay guys   I got a notice yesterday (14 November) saying that my case as been transferred to another office for processing   Today (15 November) I got another notice saying that my case has been transferred to a LOCAL office for processing and that the local office has complete jurisdiction over the case.   What should i make of this? IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	Ok My case just got transferred to another service center.   On November 14, 2013, we transferred this case I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN to another office for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. Please follow any instructions provided on the notice. We will notify you by mail when a decision is made. And best of all K3 is free if you have a pending I-130 petition. But if I am not mistaken I think some has skipped the AP part and went straight to Issued. Our case has said Administrative Processing since the interview date of Jan. 10, 2014. The date only changed the day after they received some of our 221g documents. So I hope that is confirming that something IS happening when the date changes. Now we just have to wait for his follow-up appointment/ document submission next week on 2-27-14. I know the date has to change that day too BUT I hope the AP changes to READY or just skip all the way to ISSUED! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Waiting Period after Interview	we are going through same thing too. i guess these days they are doing background checks for security purposes. the co said my fiancé is approved by him. he was super nice he apologized that we are apart for a year now from each other its very hard. but he said the maximum wait is probably 1 week to 4 months. they gave us a paper which has nothing marked its just AP. i hope it goes by fast for every one. keep praying guys. Well March 2nd will be our second month of waiting after his interview on Jan. 2nd, I am hoping it doesn't take 4 months! Definitely am trying to stay positive. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Waiting Period after Interview	Our Status Updated Date has changed now around 8-9 times since Jan-15... but I honestly have no idea what that means as no one can tell us a thing about the progress so far when I call.    It's great to see that maybe someone is working on it but I've heard others never saw this date change and Voila!  Visa was issued.  So I have no clue what to think or look at.... I guess being soo close to end, is nerve recking. Even though there will be more to come once he comes to the states, but once we are together, the wait won't be as bad. They didn't seem ready for us on the date we were interviewed either (couldn't locate our file initially, etc)  Here we sit, the CEAC site reads READY like it has since before the interview and the status updated date keeps changing - which we pray is good - but still no word yet.  We were told by the man interviewing us that it would only take 2-3 weeks..... fortunately I wasn't confident in this timeline as we are now at the 5-week mark.  UGH!! At time of interview they did not have the original affidavit of support and temporarily denied the visa until they receive the original. My fiance was told by the CO that interviewed him that once they receive it, they will send him his passport and visa. Well, his interview was on 12/24/2013 and they received the original on 12/27/2013 as I sent it same day via FedEx. To this day we are still stuck in limbo. Every time I e-mail to inquire I am told that it's under administrative processing, last e-mail they told me that it's under administrative review and that they have a heavy workload. I asked if there is a difference between AP and AR and the only thing they replied with is once the process is over they will contact me. The embassy is quite vague in their responses. It is a costly and stressful process, especially with not knowing what is causing the delay. Next week it will be two months since my fiance had his interview.   Yeah, the embassy never answers the questions you ask them! They always say it is in processing. You could write them a whole paragraph and they will respond with 8-10 words the max including "you will be contacted when the processing is done." K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Waiting Period after Interview	Our K-1 visa interview was on Jan. 2 in Jamaica, the interviewer notified him that he was approved but needed my tax papers. I sent everything to them like two weeks later. After emailing them they notified us that the case was in administrative review, and then two weeks later after sending another email, they said the case was in administrative processing. What's the difference between the two and about how much longer will we have to wait?! Also the ceac website hasn't been updated for us, it keeps saying "ready", from Feb. 3 a whole month after the interview, even though the embassy said we are in administrative processing. National Visa Center (Dept of State)	High Risk Countries! Submission of more Relationship Evidence at NVC stage!!!	My thinking exactly! i feel adding evidence that was not there when it was approved, will be sending a message that one has anticipated that the earlier evidence may not be enough, and that may confirm their suspicion, if there was any. I am not saying its a wrong idea, but if you did submit all supporting documents as asked for, why add more when you you had submitted was enough in the first place? it will only bring up suspicion. Its been well over 20 days and we havent heard anything. We keep calling and no one seem to be picking up the calls!!!! its really frustrating, any one else in this situation? how else can i contact NVC, we stay so long on phone without response!!!!!
