K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	December Filers	Well the thing about still being prego is the fact that it may not be your kid in their eyes, and you know in some places they r just thinking like that about everyone! People have had kids and even on the birth certificate it has the parents names but still they have wanted paternity tests...wahh just saying haha but its definatly something great to bring up! and pics of the baby in the mamas tummy ! I would take that to the interview hehe Luckily it's obvious that my son is my son. They always question whether he is her son In August we did the CRBA, so not we have that and his passport in addition to the birth certificate (and photos of me at the birth cutting the umbilical cord). So, pregnancy is a big one I was just down for Christmas and New Year's for 3 weeks and we are hoping that my son's sister is on her way We'll see if I had a successful repeat performance. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	November 2012 filers	Update: At the police office, we got the police report (without have to pay cuz in the website said we have to pay per page). At the city county building, the officer didn't ask my passport when we asked them 10 copies of the sealed certified marriage license. The consulate is in Chicago, three hours driving, I'll call them on Monday to ask information on getting the new passport. I'm thinking to use my married name on the new passport since I'm married already but I don't know if it's okay or not. Anyone knows if I could use my married name or not? at the USCIS office, my husband and I went there on Friday and a very kind lady helped me to check in her computer about me and she said that I don't have to be worried about the AOS cuz I'm in their system and she even printed me my I-94 paper, she said that for the AOS papers I just need to send the police report, the copies of my passport and visa, also a letter that explaining about how my passport got stolen.   Married name on passport will depend on Indonesia.  In Peru, the name on the passport must match the name on the national identity card.  In Peru you may use a "married name" or not, depends on what you want.  In any event married names in Latin America take a different form from married names in the US, so they wouldn't match the married name you may be using for your SSN and for immigration stuff. I'm not sure about my POE though. It will be: Jakarta-Tokyo-Dallas-Indianapolis I'm still figure it out will it be Dallas or Indianapolis. I also don't ship anything to US. I'll bring only my clothes shoes and bags, don't care about the cd's dvds or books I have at home, I'll leave it so people at home will still feel that I'm home I'm ready to move and have my new life with the man I love! Ahh! Life is so beautiful.   Your POE will be Dallas.  You will have to clear both immigration and customs before rechecking your bags for the flight to Indianapolis.  Make sure your layover in Dallas isn't too short as it can take a bit of time to get through it all.	pachacuti	Male	Peru	2013-08-18 11:11:00

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	November 2012 filers	I've been taking a break from the site lately, since I was spending 5 weeks in Finland with my fiance before his interview.  But I'm happy to say we had our interview last week, and everything went really smoothly and we're approved and he already has his passport and visa back!  So we're looking at plane tickets now ... he gave final notice to his work and his last day is September 9, so we're planning for him to POE around September 13.  VERY HAPPY and the most relaxed I have felt in a year ... it's great to see everyone getting approved and finally being reunited for good.   Congrats to everyone and good luck to those still in the process!   Congrats, Lynkali.  Ours is next week.  I get to be there with her  Wish us luck...	pachacuti	Male	Peru	2013-08-01 16:24:00

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	November 2012 filers	Wooo!  Our file arrived at NVC!!!  Just today!  NOA2 May 17, so this was 17 regular days or exactly 10 BUSINESS DAYS, like they say.  Got our case number too, but it's not shipped out yet, so I'll call back in another couple days to make sure it's moved on.  But it's a HUGE relief, I was starting to worry since so many had already gotten through.   My heart leapt when the lady asked for date of birth and names, because every call before then had just stopped after giving my WAC number.  I knew when she asked for date of birth that there was good news, and I could hardly contain my excitement!   Hopefully it's all smooth sailing from here.  I have the I-134 stuff ready, my fiance has updated his vaccinations and we're ready to book his medical exam (we were waiting on case number to do that), and I will be flying over to visit him for 37 days at the end of June.  I hope to be there for his interview, though of course it's not required, I'd just like to be there for moral support -- and to hug him afterwards!     Congrats.  Hopefully your luck will rub off on me and I will have good news this evening when I call.	pachacuti	Male	Peru	2013-06-03 15:15:00

I strongly recommend calling and talking to Tier two... K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	November 2012 filers	CONGRATS pachacuti!  I've been rooting for yours, convinced that all the Tyler/CSC data couldn't possibly be having any cause for delays for you but worrying a bit just the same.  Really tremendously happy for you and hope things move quickly for you now!   Did you end up filing a service request at all?   My account did get blocked on Monday, but that was due to my Android app doing an auto-refresh check on my case every 15 minutes Obsess much??   I didn't have to file any request or have to have anyone intercede on my behalf.    175 days is still too long for this process.  It really shouldn't be more than 90 days IMHO.  My little learned to crawl and walk in the amount of time it took and he is on the verge of speaking.  All while being far, far away from me.  But that is coming to a happy conclusion very soon.  Woo hoo!	pachacuti	Male	Peru	2013-05-22 21:41:00

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	November 2012 filers	yea i knw how u feel... im not at 7 month.. ill hit the 6 month mark on the 26th of this month... its very frustrating seeing 2013 filers getting approved while we are still waiting.. i called CSC today i was told i was still within the processing times and i need to wait... ive sent letters to my senators and congresswoman hopefully someone will b able to help...its so unfair watching jan and feb filers get approved.. hopefully those of us who have been waiting for so long will get our noa2 soon... fingers crossed...   We are no longer within processing times.  We are beyond the 5 months posted.  I will be calling USCIS tomorrow.  I will carefully document my interactions (date, times, names and positions of people I speak to, etc).  Based on that communication, I will post here and determine how I proceed beyond my initial phone call.  Despite my rabble-rousing, I have been very patient...	pachacuti	Male	Peru	2013-05-22 01:17:00

No offense but the pain stabs to the heart. I contacted the Ombudsman but I was given the same excuse about the plumbing issue causing the out of order approvals. Makes no sense, that incident happened about two months ago.  Contact the Ombudsman too so they would know people see the same problem. I am writing my congressman tonight (no response the first time) If no response again I am going to his office. This makes no sense and it's not rocket science why they are doing this, that is, to improve their statistics once they update the website. So unfair! I feel paranoid as well that I am being punished because I post stuff about USCIS, so they skipped mine. I know they are nosy and might have been reading posts     Don't delay my friend. Now is the time. Pls tell your friend (you know who) to hurry up with the data and graphs. By the way, is there somebody who would present the data and graphs to the proper office? So things like this will not happen again? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	November 2012 filers	I've just composed a letter and the "request form" to my senator.  Faxing it tomorrow morning first thing.  I cannot bear this any more, seeing FEBRUARY people approved made me fly into an absolute rage of tears and anger.   Does anyone know if California senators Feinstein or Boxer respond better/quicker?  I'm going with Feinstein first because I've always liked her, but I may just bite the bullet and contact both of them at once, and maybe my house rep too, so sick of this.   Go one at a time.  I would start with your Representative...     I was going to contact my congress critters this month, but I am giving it to the end of this month.  But I am with you.  Seeing Dec, Jan and Feb folks going before me is starting to aggravate me.   I just want to be with my woman and my boy.... I need to kerp my mind busy with other stuff or I'll go nuts over this. I hope we get ours soon too liddy Man, that's the truth. This week flew by. I was teaching a class on the Python programming language (5 full days). With readjusting the material I had originally made, trying out code examples and trying to get them perfect, I was working literally from 4:30 AM to midnight every day. It totally kept my mind off VJ (and pretty much everything else except my lovely fiancee and my little dude). Now I am on my way south of the equator .
