USCIS Service Centers	checks should be cashed at NOA2 time	Hi, I think that if checks would have to be cashed by USCIS at NOA2 time then it would definately shorten the waiting time for all of us. The lockbox facility was setup specifically for this one purpose: to open the envelops and cash the checks. And then people have to wait 11.3 months for the decision. This is scandalous. People who decide to contact their congressman should push for that change instead of trying to speedup their particular case.   The USCIS site claims: "We process fiancé(e) petitions in the order we receive them." Is there anyone here that realy believes in that? Apart from the above being a sheer lye how can they tell people that CSC has a 5 month processing time? Just look at the cases at VJ everyday entries. People from july, october (2012) getting their NOA2 on May 28,29,30 (2013)!! This is not a five month processsing time.   They also claim that each case is different. Let's be frank, how different those cases can be?! A man and a woman want to get married and that is it. Those differences would only be subtle at times and should not affect the processing time at all. Even if cases are different they should have a schema of those differences somewhere for their employees, let's say 10, 15 points and the rest is just a standard procedure.   My understanding of all of this mess with fiancee visas is that it is a complete disorder. There is no line or queue whatsoever. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	vaccinations and k1 visa	I read on the Polish forum that a person had to wait 1 year to get all vaccinations. this was in addition to the many months awaiting for Noa2. do you guys know what will happen if I do not have vaccination records from childhood? There were many vaccinations mandatory for children in Poland. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	RFE original envelope too small?	Hi, The instructions on the USCIS web page state to use the inclosed original envelope. It is too small to fit 20 pages of supporting documents. Besides, I would like to send the letter via express mail and the post office will probably give me a large envelope. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Is this enough for proof of meeting in person	H, My fiancee and I are anxious to send a response to RFE as quickly as possibly, that is today by 6:00PM via express mail so it gets to CSC tomorrow. Now we are in posession of a number of documents ready. One hotel is going to send us an invoice copy of our stay there, tommorrow. Should we wait???? Right now I do have the following:   Invoice from a hotel stating both of our name on it electronic copy of receipt me paying for the above electronic copy of receipt of her paying via debit card in the same city and on the same date as the hotel invoice electronic copy of receipt of me paying via debit card in the same city and on the same date as the hotel invoice   attestation of an owner of a small pension that both of us were staying there and paid cash a certain amount, with date and place.   another two electronic copies of receipts of me and her from the same city from different stores on the same date   Is this enough? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NOA 2 approved NVC still hasnt received my case	My finacee and I have numerous nervous break downs behind us. Guys who get approved in July and have their papers alredy in their ambasy do not help us too much. And such is the case. We filed Feb 8 2013, approved on august 12.   The cases ARE NOT processed in the order they are received.   The only remedy to all this hassle would be to force USCIS to cash our checks only after they have sent the approval to the NVC. Ok, after scandalously long time of 185 days from NOA1, finally today, following the erroneous message of "Initial review" we got our NOA2 - approval. RFE reply is in my timeline: Aug 6 2013, and in my signature, too.   I saw some other posts about this "back to initial review" change and have calmed down a little bit. Hi, I sent back the RFE to CSC and the status changed into RFE response from them dated Aug 8 2013 date. Then after two more days that status reversed back into "Initial REview" with todays date aug 12 2013.   Is this normal? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	February 2013 filers K1	Hi, Hard copy NOA1 arrived on Feb 8 2013 and we think that it was a standard time since we filed on Jan 31 2013. Now you can see that about 12 people out of 114 registered in Vj database have already got their NOA2 - I mean the february only filers. It seems that with all the technology available to USCIS they probably still spade shovel the forms and envelops that we have sent with such sentiment. How can you explain that the most recent NOA2s come fron nov '12 and feb '13? The old ones intermingled with almost the most recent ones? How about one haitian couple that got NOA2 after just 3!!? It seems that uscis employee stumbled upon a can of coca-cola and and smashed his face on their file... K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	The RFE Master List	Hi, We received an RFE on July 31 2013. In the notice in states to provide evdence of meeting in person within 2 years prior to the filing of the petition. As evidence they will accept airline ticket stubs and receipts .....   My question is about the wording "and receipts".
