Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussionsome address questions about I-751
Thanks for Meauxna's reply.
So I need to file AR-11 only right now since my husband who is my sponsor hasn't change his address yet. I did check AR-11 form and it can actually record a temporary address "(If the above address is temporary) I expect to remain there Years Months".

And by the time my husband moves, we will need to file I-865 to service center. On I-865 form, there are actually two addresses that can be filled in, one is physical home address and the other is mailing address. For my case, since we are very likely to move out of my temporary address into another state next August, we would like to put my temporary address in the home address and my parents-in-law's address as new mailing address by C/O (in care of) my parents-in-law. Is that allowable? Also if I do this way, will the USCIS mail go to my parents-in-law's address instead of ours?

I-751 is similar to I-865 regarding to address. Can I do the same thing? Again, will the approval letter and GC be mailed to my parents-in-law's address.

BTW, could I wait on filing AR-11 until my husband moves too and we will file AR-11 and I-865 at the same time? So in order to make sure about address change, I need to mail original AR-11 to Kentucky by trackable mail, send copy of AR-11 to Cincinnati local office where I had my AOS interview and send another copy of AR-11 to Nebraska Service Center (both Ohio and Indiana belongs to NSC), send original I-865 to NSC by trackable mail and call them again to make sure the address is actually changed. Right?

Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussionsome address questions about I-751
I started living in Indiana this February for a new job and my husband is living in Ohio right now. But we are planning to sell the house in Ohio and he will move to India. My job in Indiana is a contract job and the contract will be expiring next August. After August, we will possibly move to the other state. I haven't filed address change when I moved to Indiana because we were keeping the address in Ohio as a permanent address and all the mails still go to this address until the house is sold. I will need to file I-751 at the end of this November. My questions are:
1. On form I-751, there is a question about whether you live in some other address since you became PR. Should I click on "Yes" and attach my temporary address in Indiana? Again, I didn't file change of address.

2. If before any time when I file I-751, the house in Ohio is sold, then I know I need to file AR-11 and I-865 to change address at that time. But I don't really want to put down my temporary address in Indiana in AR-11, I-865 and I-751 since it is very likely that we will move again next August (Not sure my I-751 can be approved by then or not and even if it is approved, not sure how long it will take actual new GC arrives). Could we put my parents-in-law's address (which is in Ohio) in the AR-11, I-865 and I-751 even though we don't actually live there but just for the purpose of mails only from USCIS?

Thank you very much.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionHelp me confirm this
My husband and I just sold the house and we are going to mail out the address change to USCIS this weekend.

The following is what we will mail out:
1. AR-11 from me
2. I-865 from him

I will be filing I-751 by the end of this Nov, so technically I don't think I have any pending case in either local office or service center.

Of course, we will call 1800 number 30 days after we mail out the forms to confirm the change. Maybe do that again after another 30 days.

I'd just like to confirm that I got everything done for the address change. Thanks.

Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussionquestions about I-751
Thank you very much. I think what I will do is to include the copy of address change NOA and return receipt from USPS in my I-751 application. And following that, I will attach the bills with new address. In that way, it will be self-explanatory about why the new bills and other supporting documents have the different address than previous ones and it will show the continuing relationship after moving. For the personal check, I will cross out the old address and put the new address in the check. Thanks again.

Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussionquestions about I-751
I will be mailing out my I-751 at the end of this month. But I have a couple of questions about I-751.

1. We sold our house back to the end of this September. We filed both I-865 and AR-11. We also got a receipt for filing I-865 but nothing for AR-11 except return receipt from USPS. My question is that do we need to include a copy of filed I-865 and AR-11, I-865 receipt and return receipt in our I-751 petition?

2. We will include a deed of house showing both of our names in the petition of I-751 even though the house is not ours anymore. Because we have been residing there since we got married in 2004. But for the new residence, I am the only one who is on lease. (I moved in the new apartment first due to new job before we sold the house). We have a couple of new bills for the new address, but our names didn't show on bills together. Instead, my husband's name is on the cable bills with the new address and my name is on the electricity bills with the new address. Should I include these in the application of I-751 too?

3. We will send in the fee with personal check. But our personal check was requested quite long ago, so the address on the check is still our old house address. Do I need to put our new address below on the check or I can just use the check w/o writing down the new address (it is still the same bank account)?

Thanks.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionFedEx to TSC address? Is it the one that says "courier delivery"?
I was asking about whether I should include copy of AR-11, I-865, return receipt and NOA for I-865 in my I-751 application. I just realized that you moved too before filing I-751. Are you including the above items? Thanks.

That is a very thorough list. I am mailing mine out in a few weeks. When I collected my documents, the total page number was around 90. I thought it was a little overkilled. I am wondering how many total pages in your I-751 application.

Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussionremoving conditons on residency

Hi everyone! Just wanted to know your thoughts about my case. My 2 yr conditional green card exprires on February 23, 2007. I have counted 90 days back wards so I know when exactly I am suppose to file my petiition to lift the condition and I came up with November 22, 2006.

To make sure that I was correct, I went to the local district immigration office here in my place only to hear that the correct date of filing is Dec 24 2006. I called the USCIS again and they told me that it should be Dec 24, 2006.

Just the other day however, I spoke to one of the USCIS representatives over the phone and she said, the filing date should be Nov. 24, 2006.

I'm really confused but I'm preparing all the documents and I'm planning to file it on the 23rd of this month.
What do you guys think? Why are they giving separate answer for one and the same question?

Pls. let me know of your thoughts about this before I make a mistake.

Thanks,

Alexandra

My card expiration date is very close to yours. It is Feb 27, 2007. I am planning to send out I-751 either on December 2nd (Saturday) by priority mail or on December 4th (Monday) by express mail. Either way, I will have 87 days or 85 days which is within 90 days.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionI-751 evidence
Yes, we'd like to get another affidavit letter. But we really like to send out everything ASAP and get over with preparing the documents. It will take another week or two to get another letter from a friend. And it will be around Christmas by that time. We really want to get this done. :P The instructions say affidavit letter from at least two people. Since both my father-in-law and mother-in-law signed the letter, then we counted them two people even though it is one letter. :D

But thank you for the advice.

I recommend getting another affidativ. Only your in-laws sound weak to me. I would recommend a friend or a neighbor. You have lots of information, and the instructions say a couple of affidativs, so I would recommend someone other than your in-laws.

Thanks.

You have more than enough evidence of a bona fide marriage.

Good luck.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionResidence date is difference between New 10 Year GC and old 2 year GC
I got a new 10 Year GC recently and which will expire on 9/14/2017. I was comparing the new one with the old one and found that in my old 2 year GC, it states that residence since 2/27/2005, but in the new 10 year card, it states that residence since 2/24/2005. Also as you can see from my timeline, I actually had AOS interview on 2/24/2005 and got I-551 stamp on my passport. (So i am guessing the new GC had the right residence date) Since I will be travelling back to China early Dec, will this residence date discrepancy affect my reentry to US? Should I call customer service center for this? Also the category has been changed from CR6 to IR6 (I think that is normal).

And for my international travel, my new GC and my passport should be sufficient for re-entry right?

Thanks.

I am on the vacation in FL right now and got a phone call from parents-in-law about biometrics appointment. Ours will be on Dec 29th at 9:00am. But we can't make it that day since we are not going back unitil Dec 31st. But in the letter it says that "if you are unable to appear at the time you may go on any FOLLOWING Wednesday at the same time noted above as long as you appear before 3/15/2007". So I guess I don't need to call USCIS 1800 number to cancel the appointment and all I have to do is to show up on Jan 3rd or Jan 10th at 9:00 am for my biometrics appointment, then I should be fine right?

Thanks.
