Philippines	Hello All	Hello all! My wife and I are looking for friends/ couples with similar experiences (k1 visa) and the journey..to hang out with, have fun, share experiences, whatever.... My wife Annie is from Bulacan Sta. Maria Sta Cruz, and arrived here with her K1 visa in February and we are now going through our AOS stuff. Annie just had day 1 of her medical yesterday, and all is well, today, (23rd there) will be just vaccines, seems after reading the extended post about the medical exam in manila if you walk out on day one needing only vaccines you are golden!! interview march 2nd...2 weeks to get visa...maybe the 16th?? buy ticket the 17th... Annie here march 19th!!...... first thing she wants to do is see the snow LOL!! will have to drive up to Tahoe Saturday morning !! You then can register at the USCIS website and watch your progress, its kinda like watching paint peel from a wall, but hey...at least its cool to see that you ARE in the system!!! It also tells you a little about processing time, if you have a address change and some other things.... For me it was satisfaction that I have an official document which proves Our process has started !!!!! Welcome JRSmooth !!!!! now............. Its so cool that we both filed so close together, I am really interested in how this will all turn out as far as timing, NAOs etc....... Today The USCIS cashed my check, this is 2 days after recieving my package and I located my case # on the back of my check. I also registered on the USCIS website ...... Im stoked!! Things seem quick for us both so far..lets keep our fingers crossed for a speedy approval !!! When I tracked my packet today this is what I found....I mailed on Friday October 9th, certified mail with a return receipt........ I had a feeling that Columbus day was gonna screw everything up.... this is what i copied from USPS tracking ........ I sent out the file for us 10/9 but, because of Columbus day my package did not reach the USCIS yet. Hopefull tomorrow I will get conformation via the USPS tracking service. I met my fiance on a business trip to Manila July of 2008. And have been back several times for work and also just for us time. Lets hope for a speedy approvals!! Maybe they will try to rush things out before the New Year, or there wil be so many days off during the holiday season it will take longer...GAHHHH ??!! haha, who knows......but we are ready for the wait and are staying optomistic. My patience is really wearing thin even though we last saw each other 3 months ago, My plan was to head back this month but my work is reaching its busy season and getting away for a few weeks is almost impossible until after X-mas. As far as my pics go, unfortunately they where recently printed at a Wal-Mart photo center because they where on my cameras memory card or stored in my cpu, so the date on the back of the photo is NOT the date they where actually taken. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Finalizing my I-129F Packet a few last minute questions	Hello all, I am so excited to finally have gathered all ( I think) the information required for this process. My goal is to send out the packet Friday October 9, 2009. I do have a question on the "evidence" needed that my fiancee' and myself have indeed met. I have phone bills (home and cell), pics of us together, pics of us together with her family, letters written from my fiance' to myself..including our intentions of marriage, letters from her father and friend stating that they know me, my relationship with my fiance' and of our intentions of marriage (notarized), letters from my friend and employeer stating the same (notarized) and passport photocopies showing my 3 trips to the Philippines over the past year and a half. <HERE IS THE QUESTION> I never saved my airline ticket stubs and only have 1 E-ticket conformation of my last trip there. Is it really necessary to show further proof that i was actually on the plane?? Should I have all the E-tickets/ Iteneraries?? I am very stressed out of course about having EVERYTHING necessary the FIRST time!! Im sure you all understand Of course I have everything else as outlined in the guide here.....cover letter, both letters of intent, how we met letter, both I-129F forms, both G-325A forms w/ passport photos, birth cert copy, ...etc etc...
