Find one of Hank_ 's posts in the PI sub-forum, and study his signature, the link is there. NVC doesn't schedule interviews for K-1 visa chasers, fwiw. Go Get Em, and Good Luck !   uh? Once you have an interview appointment you can have the beneficiary go to St Lukes for a medical.   One more question! So you schedule your interview on feb right? How about the packet thing? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NOA2-NVC	Okay, I'm just new here and I'm really really confuse right now thats why I need your Help!   So here it is:  I received my NOA2 Oct 30, 2013. So 23 days passed I havent hear anything from NVC. So i tried calling them and they said that they didn't received my case from USCIS. So I called USCIS about that and they said that NVC will receive cases but they didn't process it for I129f. They will accept it and then gave them the case number and they will send it to the consulate where my fiance lives. So I ask them do they mean that my case is already in NVC is just that they didnt process it thats why they told me  that they dont have it yet? And they said YES.      So today I've tried reading stuffs about this step and most of the people on their timelines was receiving notifications from NVC that they received,process the case number and on the way to their fiance's consulate. So how come USCIS keep on telling me that I will not receive any notifications from NVC.   And 1 more question After I get my case number. Do we need to scheduled an appointment for the interview? I was afraid of this, after having read comments by others. I wish they would be more clear and maybe like, underline or HIGHLIGHT importand things like that. As far as I remember, the RFE stated that we needed to send evidence of our most recent meeting...without stating the importance of it being BEFORE we filed. So we just wasted three months and $340. So now we refile. I understand that to appeal is useless because it will only change things if it was THEIR error, not ours.   what did you submitted when you got the rfe? I also got rfe(proof of relationship & evidence) I sent them a letter telling them how we met and how we love each other and some pictures too since i just came back from his country that time. and we got approved. You do not have to know each other and be in a relationship for 2 years before filing. You just have to have met face-to-face in person only once anytime during the 2 years prior to filing the I-129F petition. They got approved for their petitions because they met all the requirements of the I-129F. There is nothing unfair about it. I am confused by your misguided outrage.     Also, financial information is not required with the I-129F petition. The financial documents and I-134 are needed for the actual K-1 visa interview. You state it helps a lot. It does not help at all to send financial documentation with the I-129F petition and you will just have to submit again at the K-1 interview anyway.   Okay, you really didnt understand what im talking about. So i'll give you a sample.(based on what i saw)   JAN 2012 (MET ONLINE) DECEMBER 2012 (FIRST VISIT) JAN 2013 (FILED FOR 1-29F) APRIL 2013 (NOA1) AUGUST (NOA2) OCT (NVC RECEIVED)   And on my case, WE NEED TO WAIT FOR 2 YEARS BECAUSE WE JUST MET ONLINE. 2 YEAR RULE STARTED WHEN I WENT TO HIS COUNTRY AND SAW HIM PERSONALLY.	krisibri	Not Telling	Philippines	2013-11-23 00:03:00

It is a requirement to have met in person within the 2 years prior to filing the I-129F petition.     Of course I know that! You didn't get my point. We, my fiance and I waited for 2 yrs before filing the petition. But SOME people got approved even when they online know each other for 1 year and only met ONCE, I don't understand why USCIS approved those petitions. I've been reading some timelines that they met online and know each other for just a year and visit just once! they filed for i129f and they got approved!! So whats with that 2 year period?!! Its just depend on how you send that form. On your most recent pay stub, what does it say?   If it says over $19,387 you should be fine. Give her that pay stub for her to bring to the interview. It shows your 2013 income.   Right now, its $18k. and my previous job was $8500 that was from jan to august only. so I should be good. What are you making in 2013?   Exactly $19,000?   In that case you are $387 short of meeting the 125% of federal poverty guidelines minimum required for a household of two to sponsor an immigrant.   http://www.uscis.gov...form/i-864p.pdf   They do not care what you made in 2011, only what you currently make. Only last year's (2012) tax return transcript is required. 2011 and 2010 are optional, but are used to establish stability of income and the likelihood of future income. If you're currently over the $19,387 minimum, you should be fine.   Either way, you have to currently make at least $19,387, or you will need a co-sponsor.   (This requirement is higher if you live in Alaska or Hawaii)     no. the recent was $28k. my fiance's interview will be on Jan 7th so I guess they will not ask for 2013 since it was only first week of the month. Understood, but you won't be on the hook for that since the I-134 isn't legally binding, and you haven't submitted an I-864 for him. He will need to either depart the US before the end of his 90 days, or could choose to illegally remain. He won't be able to obtain a green card by marriage through anyone but you (even if he marries another US citizen), will be out of status, and could be detained and deported by ICE if they catch up with him. Either way, it won't be your problem.     Yes that's correct. I haven't file the I-864 yet. But still, I want to file a withdrawal of petition, Do you have some ideas or suggestions?
