K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresMy fiancee does not have a birth certificate...
GREAT NEWS...!!!!

After hearing Aron was needing to go to her home town to get a Birth Certificate a relative was looking through some family papers and found it. That was a big surprise to everyone.

"One Down" and 9,999 to go......... ha ha!!

Thanks to everyone who gave your suggestions and input, hopefully it has or will help other to achieve their goals.

Good luck and Blessings to all.

I'm sure there are many more questions ahead.

Kind Regards,
Tommy

For what the OP wrote: "the birth was never announced" (registered) I have the impression that the birth certificate never existed.

If it got lost, it really isnt' a big deal, all she would have to do is get a new certified copy.

But it will be better if the OP could clarify that for us.

Yes, The Birth Cirtificate never existed. I think after she acquires the school records from her home town she can get a replacement or register, not sure what you call it.

Thanks for all your replies, I can tell everyone here really stands up for the cause of two people in love being together. I hope I will learn enough to help others along the way as well.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresQuestion About Evidence
hi, check your e-mail for the Itinerary and receipt at the time you purchased the flight. That can be used as proof also. Sending more information is better then sending less.
Best of luck to you.

Congrats on receiving your NOA2. Reaching this level of the process seems to be the lomgest and most
nerve racking. Our NOA1 is October 20. So hopefully our NOA2 will occur very soon??? It is a shame that the "official" processing dates on the USCIS website are so inconsistant from what is reality. Our governments way of covering their a**. I would say that would be fine if we did not have to pay a large amount of money to apply for a visa. Obviously if a private company handled this there would not be such a discrepancy in displayed processing times. Hopefully everything will be downhill for you from this point. kicking.gif
