Normally the Status you will have first at NVC is 'at NVC' from there it changes to 'in transit' when shipped from NVC to the embassy in the benificiarys Country and once its received changes to 'ready'

 

so that means the embassy has got your papers.

Hey Just have your USC Fiancee call the Visa Specialist at 202-663-1225 (after the opening message) then select Opt 1 then Opt 0 they can tell him more information most likely. You can call until 5pm EST.

 

You will know when they have received your case because they will then ask for the names and Dates of Birth of both of you. Before they have it.. they don't ask for this info.

i think this is DOS phone number , i called them days ago to give me my new case number and they did asked me about birth dates , and at the end they gave me the number. But i didn`t even thought to ask them about it was shiped or not as i thought this is NVC who send them . He will try to call now in his lunch break . Thanks a lot for the advice.

One week ago we get our NVC case number by phone. we still dont have e-mail ,but we have the case number. So , when i check on www.ceac.state.gov  , this shows up for our case

I can`t understand what this means - ready as still in NVC and ready but not shipped to consulate , OR  ready means already in consulate  ?

 

I called to embassy in Sofia , but nobody gives me info our case is arrived or not. They keep saying wait for the appointment letter. But i cant make my medical before i  shedule interview. When i try , they ask - do you have an appointment letter , if not - no medical , no interview sheduling.

 

What do you think , when is shipped the status is shipped or what ? Please , a little help with this , guys!

Hi guys , i wanna ask you a question. Can we resend our RFE response , `cause i think it was lost on its way to TCS.

7/7 Hardcopy recieved , 7/12 sent documents to lawyer , 7/17 the lawyer office sent to TCS by regular mail / no tracking number/ , still didnt reach TCS. 

We called USCIS , they don`t give us info as we have representative , and we can`t reach the lawyer to ask him to call USCIS.

Such a mess !!!

So i was thinking if we personally resend all papers in monday , but the only concern i have is that we dont have the original golden page of RFE request that goes with the response. 

Can we make a copy , because i have a picture of it and put on the top , with an explanation letter that our first response / letter / was lost ?

Any idea ?

Can you tell me did you received an e-mail or text when USCIS recorded your RFE reply ?

We received the same RFE on 7/3 , sent the reply to our lawyer , he sent it on july 15 , but till then we dont have notification that they received our RFE response.

I am worried that it might be lost by mail. Is there a possibility they received the documents and not updated in website , what do you think?  

We called yesterday , but no usefull info.

How can i know that are not lost ?! we can`t track our documents as they were sent by lawyer as ordinary mail.

Oh , i will go crazy.

Next week it will be 8 months since NOA1.

And my fiance is soooo calm ... , he just repeats " everything will be fine ''. But it`s not.

Oh, I just had a bad thought. What would we do if TSC burnt to the ground with our files in it?  Yikes thats scarry. Can we hire a volunteer fire department to camp out in their parking lot. Or what if terrorist were to launch a biological attack on TSC. I'm going to call the Governer of Texas to see if he can station National Guard troops to protect our precious cargo!!!

After plumbing problem in CSC in march that caused big delay ,

After bedbug problem in VSC in may that caused 7 days delay ,

it is very possible TSC have been hit by tornado , fire / burn our files/ , or may be all will get small pox

Next week it will be 7 months from NOA1 , and 7 months we didn't see him. We were not together on his birthday , her birthday , my birthday , valentine's day , Easter , her graduation from kindergarten , Mother's Day and Father's Day . We lost this moments , she makes memories without him.

Sad? No, this is cruel.

i think if they approve us , i won`t be able to feel this big happyness that i should feel , this process hurt me too much , it stoped my life moving , it hurt my fiance`s life , it hurts our future toghether. May be it`s time to discuss he moving here with us. This what`s happening in these CSs is so rediculous .

I dreamed that I got an email from USCIS and it was an approval. Then I woke up and checked and it was still in initial review. How I was shaking and crying in the dream wohooo can only imagine how it will be when we really will be approved biggrin.png. 

 

 

I feel like by the end of the months meaning maybe end of next week we will be all having our approvals!! 

I had the same , Katha. But still... nothing. I already hate this expression " INITIAL REVIEW" . So happy that there are so many approvals these days , but why they jump aroud mine and yours , basicaly we - me and you are one of the first transferred , but nobody touches our petitions. I am wondering why? Is there some issues with my case ? Or may be too complicated ? And may be i became too paranoic.

 

Two days ago i recieved an answer of my firs servise request , yesterday i put another.

My " man " says - everything will be fine , you know ,  trying to keep me up , he still strongly believes in american system and institutions. Me - i am deppresed. Hard depressed. I just lost hope that this day will come. To be with him and become a real family. I even dont dare to think about normal stuff like wedding plans , where to live and raise our child , where she will go to school , and things like that. Just pinned on the USCIS website and i can`t think of anything else.

 

At least i hope lots of you to recieve approvals today and to dance the happy dance.

It won`t be me today , i know this.

the case right before our from yesterday was empty , i mean no info shown , before it was i-129f , just minute ago they changed it to " On 18 june we sent you RFE..." 

 

Oh i hope they now are working on our case , as just finished previous one. I just hope we are not getting RFE , this will break me more than i am already.

I feel like with my NOA 1 2013-01-18 I am under the last ones that got transferred. I saw some people with an earlier NOA1 not being transferred. So I guess this means I still have to wait a long time - I kinda get super frustrated right now and then I realize you all prob. wait already way longer then me. On Igors list,I saw two people with an earlier NOA 1 date getting NOA2 (2013-01-14 and 2013-01-07 ) Do you think these two where also transferred? Awww I guess I am just super super sad and frustrated today.(hitting the 5 months mark now).. I hope you all who have waited way longer then me and got transfered will get the long waited NOA2 today!!!

I know how you feel. Soon we will hit 7 months mark . And btw we sent our petition on november 6 , but our lawyer made big delay in sending it and our reciept day is 12/5/12 , so we acctually wait 8 months from sending the documents. And if it wasnt this delay made by our lawyer , we would be approved till now. So understand my dissapointment . And of course they don`t do cases by order , i see it , but still happy that at least our group is moving ahead .

This is not fully correct. The first 2 numbers are the year, yes. But the next 3 numbers cannot be the working day of the year. My 3 numbers are 901. There is no year with 901 days, working or not.


You are right about not fully correct. I think everyone filled in 2012 has 901 and for fillers in 2013 it's 902.
About numbers. We must compare last 5 digits , not last 4.
For example . I am dec5 with last 4 numbers 6891, the poster who was approved from dec 20 has 6175 , but when you look as 5 digits number - mine is 26891 and his 46175 . So we have 20 thousands cases difference .
So we must compare last 5 digits. My opinion .

thats really true. More and more NJ couples smile.png (monmouth county). Got a question: On our Vermont hardcopy it states NOA1 Dec6 and on the hardcopy of the transfer it states receipt date dec5. Does that mean Noa1 dec5 or that they just got it dec5?? 

i think they put us in sistem on 5 dec , couse we are in the 6k case numbers , and sent our NOA on 6 dec. When i checked numbers in their webside , the apl recieved on 6 dec are in 8k numbers. From 5k to 8k are recieved on 5 dec 12.  This means that they had over 3000 appl on that day. Which is a lot


Also in NJ. Somerset County. A lot of NJ couples here.

Not to be Debby Downer, but looking at some of the EAC numbers they transferred a whole load of DACA cases as well


Yes, you are right. I checked 320 numbers before mine and 350 after mine. From about 700 case numbers , there are only 1 before mine also transferred , 2 still in VSC , 3 after me approved in December i129f
Most of the other numbers are DACA , transferred on 21 may , 90% of case numbers.

I am 12/5/12 NOA 1 and we are the second transferred case. But I don't think that they approved them by order or FIFO
