Thanks to all, for your positive comments. I am pretty aware of stupid choice of my husband and he is aware of it as well, in any way I am condoning the use of pot, I never done myself. We are just trying to find a solution. Once again thanks for your positive feedback.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresMedical Exam
Something to share with everyone, my husband's interview for his visa is scheduled for Aug. 20 in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Almost a week ago he completed his medical exam, we didnt know a drug test was part of the exam. My husband smoked some pot and his test came positive, everything else was fine.

None of the information given about the exam explains anything about a drug test. Has anyone experienced or knows anything about this? my husband was told by the physician who completed the exam that he will need to go and see a psychologist before his interview next week, and then the final decision will be up to consul at the embassy, and the might need to stay in Honduras for 3 yrs and go thru drug testing every 3 months, he smoked pot a party a week before the exam, we didnt realize that it will become such a heartbreaking situation, we had been waiting for this for almost 3 years. If anyone can shine some light into this I will truly appreciate it. We are devastated, he knows it was an awful choice but he didnt know it affect us this way.
