Only you can file for US citizenship and must fill out and sign that N-400 yourself, but can get help, even from this board.  The major catch is that you will need $680.00 that must be included in your application.  Bringing children here is a very expensive, especially if you need permission from your ex and is not willing to give it.  Has to be settled in a court of law with attorneys and all that depending on your home country.  USCIS fees are very high as well.  Also doctors expenses for that I-969.  And again dependent on your country, airline expenses,  you may have to fly to your home country to escort them here.   Without having a lot of money, none if this is possible.	jan23	Female	0	2013-07-08 13:42:00
US Citizenship General Discussion	husband said "its not necessary to be a citizen"	note: my grammar is terrible.i barely talk with people.so my English skills level is low   i was qualified to file last oct 2012.so I ask husband today if he already file my documents.he told me that's its not necessary to be a citizen . .when I show him a link about citizen vs  greencard holder he just told me its ridiculous..i don't know what to tell him, .some people told me that easier to apply a job when u are citizen. i cant even find a job, so difficult for me to go around.i don't have car to drive. I had my Globe roaming service activated beforehand so I could text my then fiance. I didn't get stuck on a queue upon my arrival and the immigration officers were very cool. It was a perfect night. Anyway, welcome to the U.S.! The e-mails and text chats, I just have to print them. The itineraries and receipts photo copied. BUT,... i have a question. We talk on skype everyday. Is there a way i can print out or prove that? I'm having sweaty palms just thinking about my interview,... I need your advice please.
