Could you possibly tell me what 'Hardcopy' refers to? I keep seeing it around in some of the posts.. Like 'Received NOA1 Hard copy' don't get to excited over a touch, it could a number of things it could be a up date, every time your file is picked up it's bar code is scanned physically handled, looked at ,mover to another desk,it was worked on, it could be a rfe, a number of things,we just have to wait, There have been no touches.. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	*touches*	Hey.. So this is my first post on VJ.. I'm wondering if anyone can tell me whether it's bad or not to have no Touches on the petition application.. Actually, there has been one touch, on the 11th of Novemeber, but other than that one, nothing more. Am i just a crazy status stalker who needs to stop checking the USCIS site? It's kinda doing my head in a bit cause i don't know if minimal touches = bad. Sorry if ppl post this Q over and over and that ive just added to the repetitiveness.. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Time between the petition decision and the consulate interview..	I know this is probably different when comparing with other countries.. And if anyone from New Zealand could also answer this that would be wicked as. But id like to know, how long all of you guys had to wait between receiving the status of the decision of your petition to when you had your interview at the consulate.. The K1 link in my signature is Aussie specific but it DOES mention the forms that you'll be required to fill in so if you want to print them to get them started... You might be sent or email other versions but at least if you start filling them in now it'll be easier when you get the ones you DO send to just copy the info over.. if that makes sense. OMG dude.. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	AUSTRALIAN POLICE CERTIFICATES	Hi, so im stressing out a bit.. I am trying to find out where to get the application form for my police certificates from Australia from. I now live in New zealand but had lived in Brisbane, QLD, Australia for a few years and i am at a loss as to what type of application form i need to request this and where to get it from. A few weeks back i contacted the Australian Federal Police and they gave me a link to the application form, but it is for residents of ACT. Does anyone know what i can do or who i can contact???? I have tried to call the American Consulate in Auckland where i will be having my interview when/if the petition is accepted but there is no one i can speak to directly, nor is there any option to hear about K1 VISA stuff. Another Q.. Will i recieve all of this information when i get an interview?? How am i supposed to know what to do when i cannot contact anyone regarding all of this.. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	RFE	haha, funny thing... my fiancee just called me and we got the hardcopy in the mail, it was stamped 22nd, now I am happy. And they just want copies of my fiancees passport to show he been to Germany Thats really simple, we also gonna send them pictures of our last meeting, and the flight tickets! Yay Petite!! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	RFE	Hi, at 5 months and 2 weeks we got an RFE, I was absolutely heartbroken. I thought " what do they want, I gave them everything!!!" After a week of sheer panic I recieved our snailmail RFE... in my rush to send out everything I forgot to sign the G325! LOL So I signed the G325 and ran to the post office and mailed it back express. Within a week we had our NOA2! So it may be something so very simple, don't waste too much time fretting and worrying, wait for the snailmail and send off the requested evidence right away, you hopefully will just be 2 weeks behind! Needless to say after that slip of mine my husband now says to me... HONEY MAKE SURE YOU SIGN THAT FORM!!! Good luck and best wishes! Amber I hope that is all we have to worry about! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	RFE	Totally normal And no, you don't get sent to the back of the line when you respond to the RFE> about 2 weeks after we responded to our RFE we had our NOA2 Good luck Can i ask what your RFE was for? We thought he had everything filled out right, he had a lawyer look over it and everything. Gosh, im so upset! lol I just thought we would have gotten the RFE so much sooner.. Our petition has been Processing for 5 months already, throughout that time we have had no touches or any news on it at all.. Can anyone tell me if its normal to get an RFE this late? Is my American Fiancé considered my 'Spouse'? Do i fill these parts in with his information?? Seeing as we are not yet married he is not my Spouse.. So uhh.. Lill help?
