They told me that they sent it from the embassy to her and a copy to me. She still has not gotten anything from them, but thank God she is eligible for an interview thanks to the P3 I got. They can't keep her waiting much longer for an interview to be scheduled. K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Approved April/May/June Filers waiting for NVC	Well, yesterday was my birthday and had 2 very nice presents... first was a very good medical, much less hassle than I thought it was going to be and the second was my interview date My interview will be February 1st at 9:30am. Josh's parents contacted a congressman on our behalf on the 2nd Jan and I signed consent forms for the office to look into our case on the 3rd. By the time I arrived home from the medical, I had an email from the lady at the congressman's office telling me when my interview would be. I'm still waiting for an official letter, but at least we know when it'll be now I haven't stopped smiling since I found out. It's going to be so wonderful to hand in my notice at work next week (stating it is pending an approval on the 1st) I have wanted to do that for the last 8 months All being well, my final work day will be the 15th, so I can spend until the 20th (flight day) sorting last minute things out Edited by C and J, 05 January 2008 - 02:40 PM. We had 10 days off work here and I decided to make the most of it and forget (as much as I could) about the whole visa process and just enjoy Christmas Anyway, now I'm back He_She - congratulations on the interview date Pechez & mbdesousa - congratulations on your petitions making their way to the NVC Nanda & MelissaHassan - congratulations on your petitions making their way to the embassy My Honey - The interview date is getting close now, I am so very pleased for you G&A - congratulations on received packet 3 (even with the wrong checklist it's still progress!) KingsleysPrincess - March may seem so far away but you finally know when this journey will end for you both. You're no longer stuck in the waiting limbo that never seems to end As for me, I did phone the London Embassy on Christmas Eve and they had no interview scheduled for me at that time. The nice person I spoke to said that London can take 1 month to schedule the interview and that countdown starts once they have received everything they need back. Josh will be trying the Department of State helpline later today to see if there is any further update but either way, I will hopefully have an interview date within a weeks time. Then I'll finally know when I can hand in my notice at work, and whether or not I can use the ticket I already have booked to make my final journey to the States. K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Approved April/May/June Filers waiting for NVC	It's fabulous to see everyone finally speeding along on their journeys I haven't sent off my checklist yet because I wanted to know that Josh was close to having his transcripts in hand. My mum-in-law received hers on Monday (and she sent off for them 3 days before Josh sent off for his) so it's made me bolder and I'm planning to mail off the checklist tomorrow. Someone in the UK regional forum (K1, though) sent off their checklist on Friday and have an interview set for 24th January, so I have a rough ball-park estimate on how long it will take And my medical is booked for my birthday, so less than a month to go for that. K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Approved April/May/June Filers waiting for NVC	I received packet 3 in the mail today The letter was dated the 27th, which was the same day I phoned them and was told they hadn't received my petition yet Oh, well, stranger things have happened in this process I suppose Now I have a dilema... I have all of the paperwork I have to submit at the interview, except the I134 and it's supporting evidence (transcripts etc). Josh and my mum in law are still waiting for the transcripts to arrive. Do I chance it and send the form back to say I have everything or do I delay my eventual interview by however long it takes to receive that evidence? Please note that there will be limited availability during the week of November 19 and December 24. This gives me hope that they're not shutting down for a full 2 weeks over Christmas, they state limited availability, not NO availability. Which will hopefully limit the impact of these holidays on their processing times (which I believe are currently at 2.5 months but I couldn't find the exact page ). She already has her medical and most of her documents prepared (except her federal check, which the embassy requires to be within 30 days of the interview date), so she is about ready. I want to ask Josh to start phoning but I promised myself I wouldn't do that until our petition reaches 4 weeks after approval (we're at 14 days currently). So to try and make myself a little more patient, I have been ooking at G&As chart and there are at least a few people who are getting close to the "1 month from NOA2 received" date (7ub6686, Jason&Marla, Waitingforwifey etc) Have any of you attempted to phone the NVC? I have Josh to blame for that ) and you can hopefully see the wording you are looking for:- The guides are very helpful in what to expect for both the I130 & I129F routes.
