US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionWHO CAN GO IN THE INTERVIEW

WHO CAN GO IN THE INTERVIEW?

CAN I GO IN THE INTERVIEW WITH MY FIANCE? I WONDER IF I CAN GO IN THERE WITH HIM...

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT KIND OF QUESTIONS THEY'LL ASK?

THANKS,

when i went for my interview my fiance went with me and in fact the consul ask him just one question too.. it was nice and easy.. after 2 minutes we are out in the room and was approved!

there are only 2 questions that were asked : if she could see my engagement ring and if what are the common things between us!

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionEmployment Related to Temporary Green Card Expiration

***** Moving from general Polls to Removal of Conditions forum *****

You need to apply for ROC (removal of Conditions) before your 2 year greencard expires. The processing of that may take you past the expiry date of the 2 year card, but you'll get a 1 year "extension".

So, did i get you correctly? i do not need to renew my AED and still can continue to work, while processing for my Removal of Conditions?

Thanks for the fast response.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresProcessing K1 visas will stop?

First, do not make any time plans. Second, do not expect lighting fast processing.

The service centers routinely "shift" priorities onto different visas. It happens all the time. It is not a one time a year thing for one particular visa. Read the pinned topic on the top of this forum for some detailed inside the Service Center info on just this topic. During these "shifts" some adjudicators are kept working on other visa types. work on I-129f's will not "stop" but there may be less adjudicators assigned to them.

From late September until early November 2009 there was a "shift" to I-129f's at the VSC (discussed in the pinned topic) and no one complained with petitions being processed in less than 30 days. Except the I-751s which seemed to take a back seat about the same time.

You have entered into a process which takes many months, assume it will take many months, relax and start your plans for the future, there is a lot to do and a few months is not a lot of time to do it in.

i agree with the statement above..always assume that the processing will take months.. its always nice to have a little surprises..everything will always come at the right time and at the right place!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Proceduresletters of intent to marry!
letter of intent to marry should be signed before sending it, together with all the documents and evidences to the USCIS upon application for the K1 visa. you dont need to wait for a month to send it, it should not be a problem at all for as long as everything is ready to be sent.

I don't think that's accurate. I have never heard of it. My sister just came here in the US and she only got 1 way ticket from the PI.
