PhilippinesWhy CENOMAR?

She can still get and request for CENOMAR from the NSO even she's married with you now... me and my wife are married and lately she request a CENOMAR from NSO last november 12 before her interview in case they were asking for it.. it took 2 days...

Interesting...she went this morning and they told her only the CEMAR was available.  Did they need it for her interview?  I'll try to get both CENOMAR and CEMAR just for the hell of it...thanks for the info everyone...

PhilippinesWhy CENOMAR?

So when I went to file my i130 application for my wife in Manila yesterday they requested a CENOMAR to show that she wasn't previously married...but my wife went and they can't issue that because we're married now?  Not sure I understand...It is the first marriage for both of us as we listed on the application...anyone have this come up before?

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresI-130 for step daughter?

Hi all,

New to the forums and wanted to ask a quick question and didn't see a search function...so I apologize if this has been asked or is obvious.   I'm getting all my docs ready to send my I-130 and I was always under the assumption I'd need to file two..one for my wife and one for her daughter...but I came across something online saying there were exceptions and now I can't find the site again...any info on this would be great...thanks so much!

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresFilipina wife deported from China...Problems?

OK...I spoke to the embassy and they said a letter from the Embassy in China or the Police Department in the city she lived stating that PCC's are not issued to tourist visa holders would satisfy the condition.  They even said they'd accept an email from either...so there's a resolution for those in a similar situation...(although I can't imagine this comes up often...)

Illegal visa use in another country will not affect the I-130 process.

You may want to ask your question about Chinese police certs in the China forum for more expert opinions.

Ok well that's sort of a relief, haha...

I'm just curious what documentation we could provide from China because it was an L visa, so they won't issue PCC...I'll ask over in the China forum...see what I can dig up...thanks.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresFilipina wife deported from China...Problems?

My wife was deported from China back in January 2013 for an L-Visa overstay.  We are starting the i130 process and was wondering if this going to hurt her chances during our application process?

China can not provide Police Certificates for those on L-Visas...and she was there longer than 1 year.  What can I prepare?  Anyone have this happen before?
