someone please help urgently..
please my question is.. would it be ok for me(a
beneficiary) of an ir2 case to call nvc and ask for
an update on my case??.. MORE INFO: we
received 4 checklists and submitted all they asked
for.. finally we submitted all documents since
december 11 bt still no update on our case(they said in the last checklist that the requested documents are the onky thing required so that my case may be completed.... we actually started nvc processing in
September 2013 and the checklist has brought us
thus far.. pls pls and pls some one give me a reply
for God's sake I beg.. I really need help.. thanx in
advance.. is it normal dat I feel worried abt not receiving an update.. my question again can I the beneficiary call nvc.... dear DARNELL pls say sumtin.. anyone with ideas or help in form of reply pls help asap... tnx in advance

We saw that either your Affidavit of Support was incomplete, some of your supporting documents were missing, or both. We have marked the missing items on the checklist below.
You should send any of the missing items to NAME OF APPLICANT so he or she can take them to the visa interview. The Consular Officer will review the missing items at the time of the interview.
Please pay special attention to any items related to the Affidavit of Support form. If the checklist shows any problems with the form, you should complete a new form and send it to NAME OF APPLICANT.

I -130 question nd help

Hi everyone

So I have my interview soon and I'm to take my I130 with me to the interview...

So we're a bit confused on the household size.
It's my father who filed for I and my sixteen year old brother(I'm nineteen) so my brother filed i864w
Ps: we're in the ir2 category
PART 5 of the AOS
sponsor's house hold size:

1. Enter the number you entered on line 7 of part 3
Well my father entered one

Persons not sponsored in this affidavit:

3.if you're currently married enter one for your spoise____
4.If you have dependent children enter the number here___..
Now my question is that is my father suppose to enter one on line four of part five(since my brother is a dependent child)??.. so therefore the total number on line 8 of part 5 which asks to add together lines one to seven would be three..I.e I, my father and my brother ryt?? SOMEONE PLS HELP WITH A REPLY ASAP COS MY INTERVIEW IS SOOO CLOSE ALREADY.. TANX FOR UR HELP IN COMMENTS..

Birth certificate?? YES, bt I'm not so sure about the death certificate bt I'm sure it would help cos nvc would like to knw if the child's biological father is aware of his/her migration bt since the father is late I deem it best to snd a copy of the death certificate.. that reminds me pls of the child is sixteen years and above then he/she should get a police report from his/her country of domicile pls do this so that u avoid any checklist asking for a police report.. good luck.. pls feel free to ask whatever question u want to..

In my case we didn't send any proof of relationship to nvc it was at uscis we did that when we had a dna test d only tin we sent to nvc as proof was an affidavit stating that my mother has granted my father full custody of me. Hope dis helped and it would be best the child takes enuf evidence to the interview..

well during my time at nvc I received this kinda checklist thrice cos I never understood that its a kind of confirmation that your previous documents u sent have been received... do not worry, but I would suggest you call nvc to be absolutely worry-free.. hope it helps

@patua, i appreciate ur concern too..
we have paid d iv fees already and sent i864, just wating on ems to deliver my ds230.. @darnell he added his email address and stil got no email.. mayb he wud just call dem den.
NB: we have printed coversheet and stuffs all we have left to do is send ds230 and supporting documents.. tanx a lot..

first of all i got to say I'm excited to find such a helpful site..

brief introduction:
I'm 19, and got approved already and it is my dad who filed for i and my younger brother....

we filled ds3032 sent to us by nvc and registered my dad as our agent then he paid Aos fee iv fee then he sent in 1864 to nvc... Now my questions are 1. are we supposed to get any response from nvc after sending the affidavit of support to them? 2.is it ok to scan and send a copy of the ds230 i filled to my dad so he can snd to the nvc? or can hesign on my behalf because i sent a copy of the ds230 to him through a Ems and its almost two weeks now and he hasnt got it.. i wud really love ur help pls as i have asked for help on this question somewhere else and no response till date.. pls help me with whatever advice you have.. Hi everyone So I had my ir2 visa interview today and I got approved, all thanks to God.. I got a paper stating where I'm to pick up my passport and when to pick it up.. so when I got home I got a call from embassy saying I should come to the embassy on Thursday to do a fingerprint again.. should I be worried?? Help pls
