Yes it says its valid 1 year but since they shut down im afraid i should wait longer... Which uscis provide green cards? Are they separate offices as they were when the visa being applied? By the way how about ssn, how an when can i get?

i called USCIS and they where asking for Alian number which i did not get. i think it has to be on the GC only which did not arrive yet.

I don't think it's correct to plan earlier a year upfront. As I understood you've just filed k1 visa, hopefully you'll be in luck to complete it sooner. But the best deal is 1) apply for b2 visa after your fiancée in the states; 2) if mother's and brother's work status change better to bring enough evidence that they have enough ties in the country to come back (I doubt though). 3)either having jobs or not, brother and mother must apply together and to be interviewed together too, at least consular assures that brother escorts mother who is prepension aged

Hello Guys, calm down. We got approved on march of 25th, CSC, all lawyers say after approval it takes 2-4 weeks, i guess including delivery from USCIS. We have to wait 1 month and 7 days untill we got the case #. Just be patient, no stress, if you don't get it in a week, you just must call to NVC and say your NOA2 number. By the way all offices in USCIS theysend once in a month all approvals.

It is a funny thing because i see some files from CSC getting sent immediately to NVC and pushed to the consulate while others like yours and mine are no where to be found. You must have some very thick skin to get through this process, i know if i didnt i would have lost it already.

 

CSC works very slow. My NOA2 was approved on march of 25th and NVC received only april of 24th!!!! People have to call to NVC

So I have a question, as soon as US Embassy receives documents from NVC, would they send me any forms I must fill out? Hello Darnell how are u?  I see your petition approval took some more time though we went through noa2 together :) I dont know which legend letter you meant, but from Embassy i received only standard package which documents required (they must have ones), so strange that NVC didnt do a favour to send all of our documents to embassy, they must have done it separately.

If they already have all of those original documents, you need not worry about bringing them again.  You can probably email the IV unit of the embassy to ask them about your particular case, and they should help you.

 

I did many time, the consul himself never replies, only his assistant, she said "if you represented all of your documents to NVC they must be here then", but i am really scared if i miss any paper

Next tuesday I'm having an interview at the US embassy. I'm very confused and stressed, NVC sent original documents to my husband which he resent to me. So

 

looking at the checklist that Embassy sent me, they say i must bring all original documents like birth,marriage certificates, the document of criminal records, AOS

 

and etc. My package contained AOS without signature and our personal documents like birth and marriage certificates. So what imust do? I read on some site

 

and they say i must bring those documents that we didn't have time to send to NVC but we sent everything!!! Should i get another document of criminal records?

 

I have only scanned docs from NVC, even if i print them out they still be copy?! Please help me with an advice

They take time to transfer to nvc, it takes 1-3 weeks, then to put u to base, payments ant etc maximum total 3 months if you try your best

.... when they get approved! 

 

My fiance woke me up with the text that I have to wake up and check my email. The email about our NOA2 was there!!!!! I'm SO happy!energy.gif

 

Actually last month we got the text/email about RFE sent to us but we never got it...My fiance called CSC in 15 days and they told that an RFE copy will be sent and it should be delivered within next 15 days. Yesterday they sent another email that they recalled RFE and we should get the result withing 30 days. He called CSC and found out that RFE was cancelled the next day after they notified us about it and almost a month we were waiting for nothing.

I applied last year, perhaps (not sure though) rules have changed but I did bring my greencard and a copy of our marriage certificate. For now all you can do is to call them regularly, sometimes they need a real push to do everything in time

Hi :) have a look at my timeline. CSC indeedvery slow, they send all approvals once in a month. My timeline is not the earliest, some people get the NVC # in 3-4 weeks after approval. It's not the good decission to call them each day, it may make them working slower (actually they do), just try to do it once a week or send the scanned copy at : NVCInquiry@state.gov

so your saying that she should be on a payment plan or she should not? my wife lives in DR with bad credit. I think what has happened is she was not able to pay bills because she didnt have a job for a while. Now she is paying them. but I am not aware she is on any payment plan. I think she just pays the bank for her car loan. 

You are her husband so why dont you help her to pay off credit, so no reason to awareoops8rh.gif

Hi,Not sure if there's difference between your country and mine. But every child has all vaccination from early time, our docs know that. So once i went to medical examination, they didn't require my vaccination records, but it was preferable. In my side i didnt have any records cuz they were lost but still was accepted :)

U never know what may happen there's a possibility consulate may arrange the administrative process, or if you're really in rush to spend money and "catch" ticket, you always can cancel in 24h before flight and it charges 100$ in some companies

Everyone!! Oh  my God!

 

Oh my God! Everyone! I'm approved! I checked the USCIS website just now! Oh my God! And I had to keep on checking and clicking it just to make sure if its true and the website isn't just malfunctioning. Hahaha, anyone here July filers who got approved already! Check your statuses everyone! All praises to the Most High! Thank you everyone for the prayers! Now we're heading to the next step. I'm not sure what the next step is yet but we'll get to that. Hahahaha!

 

Don't loose hope everyone! I really believe that what I did last night was the reason why this miracle happened. For the first time in my life I knelt down and prayed and talked to Jesus Christ my Savior with all my heart. I had complete faith that everything will happen according to His plan. You might want to do this, believe and give thanks for an answered prayer even if it hasn't come yet. God is good all the time!

 

Just a summary, our petition was accepted July 25, transfered to Texas Nov.22, and approved today December 3. I think our case was expedited because I'm a Filipina and that benefciaries form Phils. are said to receive a benefit of expedit as a relief for the recent Typhoon Haiyan. Yes it is indeed fast! My husband and I are truly grateful for this wonderful time in our life!

Hi everyone! I'm wondering how long it took for your case to get approve when it was transferred to Nebraska Service center? My PD is June 10, 2013. My case got transferred Nov 22, 2013.
