Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)i-601: General Moral Support, i-601 app
miss liss, i was married in mexico and we did it in 3 days. but, make sure you have everything prepared and ready. i was married in july of 2005. my husband had all the proper paper work and i made sure i had everything (my birth cert trans in spanish, copy of passport, copy of mexican passport). i might be forgetting some things. sorry, i'm trying to remember exactly what we did . i know my husband did the research and talked with a lady at the immigation office (who incidently processed our paperwork) it's actually easier than it sounds, as long as you have everything in order (to me, gathering the paperwork was the hardest and pain in butt.) i'll ask my husband if he remembers and what exactly he did. i only took off for a week. oh yeah, do your bloodwork a day before you go to immigration. we did bloodwork wednesday, paperwork, paid fee, and running around on thursday. we were wed on friday morning.

i have read that it could take up to 30 days for immigration to issue a permit. it only took them 1 day to issue ours. i hope this helps. don't get discouraged! hang in there!

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresAnother DS-230 Question
I rec'd my husband's ds-230 application and from reading the instructions, it says that he needs to only sign part I. There isn't any line or space that requires a signature. I rec'd only a front and back sheet (part I with questions 1 thru 18, and on back part II) and instructions. Am I missing something here? This is how they sent it to me, and from looking at the Downloadable form online, it seems i'm missing a whole entire page? Or is this a new form? Please help!!!

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresFingerprints for California police check
i found the answer to my question after some extensive research. Mexico is not required to provide police records and if the benificiary resided in the usa, you DO NOT request police records from those states. Whew!!!!

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresFingerprints for California police check
Hello, i'm hoping someone would be able to tell me where I can find " 10 Print Fingerprint Cards".
I received a "RFE" on my husband's DS230 Pkt. NVC needs police records from all cities my husband lived in since the age of 16. It seems that the state of California only accepts fingerprint based requests and requires a 10 print fingerprint card. Do I need to send that to him or would he get one from the country he's currently in (which is Puebla, Mexico)? We already submitted a Police Record from Puebla, Mexico, but did not submitt the other cities he had lived in. Thanks to whomever responds! Your help and advice is greatly appreciated! :help:
