US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionShe is in Brazil 3 months until Interview
I would like to go to Brazil for the 2 months prior to the interview. My income is quite large for the previous three years. I have full docs on income. I will take leave from my job(no income while in Brazil)and return to the job upon my return. My company will prepare a letter stating my income and that I am permanent employee. (Please consider, permanent employee does not mean I will be paid while on leave, only that I will have job when I return)I will have no pay stubs for the 2 months preceeding the interview, however my income up to that date will be approximately 90k dollars. Should I expect any problems . Thanks,

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionIncome requirement Question
Again. I am permanent employee at my company. I have earned over 85000 dollars to date. Exceeding the income requirement.I will take a LEAVE from my job to travel to Brazil until the visa is granted or not granted. Approximately 2 months.I will receive no compensation from my company while in Brazil. Only when I return will my pay resume. The company is willing to give me the time off with out pay. I do not find this hard to understand or that something sounds not right.

I am applying for K-1 visa for my Brazilian fiancee . My income for the past 3 years is approximately 150k dollars. I have earned much more than the requirement this year ,to date approx 85k dollars. I have the letter from my empoyer stating my salary of 160k annually and that I am full time employee. Also the previous 3 years tax returns show the same . I estimate the interview to be approximately mid November. I would like to travel to Brazil mid-September and remain until the visa is granted . Will I encounter problems at the interview since I would have no current income or pay stubs. If anyone has experience with this problem please advise. Timatayo

If you are a full time employee, how is it that you have no current income?

Something doesn't sound right.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsJune 2009 CSC K-1 Filers
We also got touched on 10/02 and I received the text notifying of an RFE being mailed from the California office on 10/05.
Hope this helps some one as I was beginning to worry our petition would be one of the dreaded "black hole Ones" My Noa1 date is 6/15/09 . Even though an FRE, it is ok ,knowing the process is underway and not still on the shelf.

The same with my fiancee and I as well. Received Noa1 in June 15th. No touch since June 16th. Maybe we hear any day regarding our Noa2. Maybe our files are on the desk of the the office clown. Hopefully we can get good news any day now.

Anybody getting touched? Or are they going str8 to approved?

I received my noa1 ,June 15th. There has been no touch or E mail notice as well. Hopefully will get some action soon. I am seeing Egors list filling in more slowly last several days. Maybe things pick up soon. I am worried some by no touch since submitting the petition but I understand others get no update at all online or e mail and still receive the 2nd noa in the usmail. No option but to wait.
