Well not sure if it was denied or what, but they gave here a paper(221G) and they told her she needed to send more evidence of our relationship, pictures, phone calls etc. along with her passport. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	POE..."US Citizen" line? Or "Foreigner/Green card" line?	It should not matter at least I can say in San Francisco Int'l Airport. You can just tell the officer there that you are going with your wife. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Medical Examination question	Usually for the TB test, it's required 2-3 days for the result to come up as it takes sometime for your body to react with the chemical. And most people these days don't bother with the K3 since it gets administratively closed (not to mention it's more expensive in the long run and the beneficiary can't work), so there's not a lot of information on it anymore.   True! I got my hopes up because nvc personnel told me it's up to the embassy to decide if they will proceed with k3 or not. Our embassy in Belgrade refused to, said when both are approved the i129 gets closed. And sure enough a week later nvc closed it out. It took nvc 22 wrk days to get us case # for i130. Never hurts to ask ur embassy tho. I literally begged our embassy but they didn't care. Best of luck!!!   Thank you for quick reply! I'm not sure if I wish that the consulate will proceed with the K3 visa as that might lead to adjustment of status and those are expensive.. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - February 2014	Guys and Girls,   We applied for a K3 and I-130 together and both got simultaneously accepted on February 1. Both were shipped of to the NVC. Our K3 already received a case number and has been forwarded now to the Consulate, while the I-130 still hasn't' been received by the NVC. Normally the K3 will be closed when the I-130 is also accepted at the same time, but the due to the long lines at the NVC things are getting messy now. Just tried it again and now waiting in line.    From what I have read.. If your case number just has been assigned (like today) then you might have to call back later to ask again. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - February 2014	No. You need to call NVC to find out when your case is received.       yes I already received notification from TSC that it was shipped, but my question is: do I get another notification from TSC that NVC received my case ?   Just came of the phone with the NVC and they received our I-129F and assigned a case number + invoice. The I-130 might take a bit longer.. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - February 2014	I received notifications that my 130 and 129f were approved on Feb 3rd, received hard copies like a week later from TSC. On Feb 5th, received notification I29f sent to NVC On Feb 14th received notification 130 sent to NVC I called NVC about 129f they told me it will get cancelled because if defeats the purpose of processing the 129f if the 130 was approved at the same time. When the info gets entered into the computer, that's when a case # is assigned. I know the waiting is extremely difficult but just try to be patient. We are all in the same boat. We all miss our spouses and want nothing more than to be with them. Hang in there.   Manually??? Welcome back to the eighties? Nah, its super annoying as we have to find out through forums where and how the process goes, nothing is made crystal clear. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - March 2014	We definitely don't  care about the work permit..  and we don't care about the cost of adjusting.    K3 is the same as a K1 except you are already married. It was designed to speed up the process ( even though the process has changed over the years)     Why would they say NO for a K-3? and not for the I-130?  We have a waiver to file so we  would prefer to bypass this NVC BS.  If we go for an interview for K-3 or I-130 we will get the same result , we still need to submit the waiver before he can come home. So for us, the K-3 makes sense.   If we didn't need the waiver, I'd go for the I-130 because the interview is the end of the road.   Waiver??
