USCIS Service Centers	Messed up my Zip Code on 129F	I received in the mail today my letter confirming Vermont is handling our 129F. Now for the problem. I zoned out and put my zip as my work zip code but using my home address. good news is it is only 2 numbers off and 4 miles apart in travel. So fortunately the USPS delivered with no issues. Now do I go into the USCIS website and do an official address change due to this? Asia: East and Pacific	k1 visa- jakarta embassy packet/change of address	NVC already shipped out my packet to Jakarta Indonesia US embassy. My fiancee address has changed and NVC didn't update it. Will this be a problem? Will Jakarta send the packet list by mail or email. I tried calling embassy but so many options and at the end the phone hangs up. What do to? I changed my address on line also and then the NVC mailed a notification to my old address then resent it later....just an FYI... you should register with the Embassy and as you set up your profile you can list you address... and you should just keep trying to call the embassy and listen for promt to get to a live person... for K-1 filing.. My questions are these: What are all of the things that she needs to bring with her. Philippines	When to schedule interview?	Once you have your MNL # you are good to go! So, do I have to wait for Manila to get are case uploaded into their system or can I schedule after payment? Philippines	Commission on filipinos overseas	You can do if fist, however you will have to return with the K-1 visa inorder to receive the CFO sticker that is placed in the Visa/passport. I suggest waiting for the K-1 visa and go to St. Mary's for the seminar because they can issue the sticker at the same location! it will take about 4 hours. You realize that all the 129F timelines on VJ only represents about 5% of all the 129F petitions that CSC receives each month? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	email inquiry to NVC	Good day everyone. We received our NOA2 last May 14 as i said on my previous posts. We called the NVC after 15 days but they said that they still don't receive our case that's why we called them again after a week. When my fiance called again, the CSR told him that our case is still not on the system that's why I sent an email to NVC last Monday, eastern time to ask about our case number but since then, I haven't receive any response. I included all the required security information in that email but i feel sad because they still have no response to my inquiry. it took the NVC one month to receive and send out my I-129... I called everyday after one week and emailed one one week also. They didnt respond to the email for one week and only told me they have no information... the same I heard over the phone... Just call every day.. try to call them early in the morning , Eastern time is 8am, there is no waiting at that time so have our info ready! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Would a Marriage License Cause Denial?	You can have a ceremony in her country. But you cannot really get married. You have to get married in the USA. You signed papers that stated your intentions for the government to approve the fiance visa. You cannot enter the USA married with a fiance visa--that is fraud If you just want to have her family present then have a ceremony with them. If you want to marry in the Phils you should cancel the K-1 now and go marry her in the Phils then file a Spousal petition instead. If you marry and then try to enter on a K-1 that is mis-representation. You cannot adjust status because you are already married and did not abide by the rules of the K-1. Well that settles it then. Hello everyone, I have a question and need some help; I have applied for a K-1 visa which will be going through the US-Embassy in Manilla, Philippines. I would like to get married over there when the visa is issued, then bring her back with me to live here, another marriage here also. I will be traveling to see her before the anticipated NOA2 notice and would like to apply for a marriage license at that time and then wait for the K-1 to be approved then get married to her with family and friends present! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	After Visa Where can we get married?	After we receive the K1 visa, do we have to get married in the US? I have asked the same question here and Yes you cannot get married except in US. However you can have a religious ceremony, but you must extremely careful, it will not be a legal marriage and you dont have to declare it and you will still be free to marry. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	K-2 Not listed	You list ALL children on the 129f form, regardless of their immigration intent. You then list only those children that you wish to have a K-2 issued on the DS-156K form....and you list whether they are To Join or To Follow. Then if they are To Join, you get a medical done for them and bring them along for your interview. If they are To Follow, then when you are ready for them to come, you notify the Embassy to schedule their interview, have a medical done for them and then have them attend their interview.
