how do we find out if USCIS has sent to the NVC and when its going to forwarded??

Hi everyone....i have a question regarding the I-129f..looking around we see other people going though this trip..who were approved around the same time as us Oct 16th and the NVC has it, completed it and forward it to the embassy for the next step...in Canada

So my question is...how do we find out if USCIS has sent to the NVC and when its going to forwarded??

Hey Tony and Carol! You should hear something soon as far as an interview goes. Click on the Embassy reviews to see some from Vancouver. There has only been a few from there in the last few months. I went through Vancouver, and I'm from Saskatoon! *waves* Best of luck!

DS-160 is required, its an online form you fill out and submit online and you have to print out 2 copys of the confirmation page as well as the full set of questions you answerd to hand over at the interview. I hope you printed it out.

Well I finally got my interview date yesterday for Dec 2nd. So in a crazy frenzy of flight searches etc heres a quick breakdown of my plan of attack.
Vaccines taken care of so next Monday book a medical in vancouver ($350) for same day results. Fly from Calgary to Vancouver Monday morning and return Monday night ($248 for flights).
Booked flight for Calgary to Montreal leaving calgary 4pm Dec1st arriving 12.58 am Dec 2nd and returning 8pm December 2nd ($466).
Rental car from airport in montreal ($46 for the day)
This way I minimise my time off work since I am paid by the day and I have no hotel costs, I'll just sleep in the airport, or car, or on the steps of the consulate.

If they only knew the costs and madness associated with this stupid protocol of only using certain physicians for medicals and not having interviews in Calgary. Oh well- just happy the ball is finally rolling. Good luck to all the others waiting for interviews.

Hey Good Luck!!!..wow thats some trip!!!..i live in saskatoon and thank god i going to Vancouver for the interview and i can do the medical at the same time..i argee i might end sleeping in the airport..i dont think they really care what the costs are..and in the end its worth every penny!!!

I will be starting off in Purcell, ok... not far from OK city and the world famous will roger airport huh!! then to Texas..

hi ya..yes i did anytime in Nov and the beginging of Dec and Jan onwards... we are in the Us for Dec..so can't do an interview then..i already have to ask them to hold the visa if i get a nov interview or dec ..because i be entering the usa and dont want to start my K1..on that entrty..

Strange thing is that i only got an email from Vancouver not a letter as of yet...have downloaded package 3 as per there email...but woudl love to see that letter? anyone else seen this???

Not booked anything yet regarding hotels..have spoken with the docotors office regarding an appointment..not an issue. as its a first come first serve basis....

I do have a questions for our fellow Vancouver people..i got an email saying download package 3..but no letter should i contact them??? i have sent my check list and ds-230 part one back..

any ideas??

No need to worry about a letter quite yet... it'll come. If anything, shoot them over another e-mail, and they'll let you know what else to do.

i just got the same RFE;'S for the AOS..i contacted the 1-800 and spoke with a supervisor who said that this becoming a problem and they were flsgging it to the next level for investigation....they told me to write a letter stating where i entered, dates another copy of I-94 and request them to contact the border crossing to access the infomation. He said that some officersare unaware K1 medical information...

i am just sending them the letter that i wrote another copy of DS2035...and hope that flies..as for the payroll stuff, tax returns, w2 and a letter from my wifes employer...

let me know hw it go's...

US Border Agent Made Me Cry!

I would file a complaint as quick as u can...ride this #######..his wrong u are allowed to visit the usa with proof of ties and they to treat u with respect at al times,i would find ou his supervisors name and have a little chat on the way back or get hubby to a very one sided conversation

Hi ....i would import under your name...then there is no taxes as ur moving personal affects..if need be u can transfer the title once ur in the usa...just need the letter from the car maker saying it meets all us standards and no recalls..and boom ur don. takes about 15mins at the poe..
