I bet your case won't go to AP at all! study some recent Iranian cases. (eg. M n M) As far as I know they had great interviews. Actually none of the Iranian cases I know here have been to AP! When I had my interview couple of years ago, among the 3 Iranians who had interview almost the same time, I was the only one who went through it! It just depends on what mood the officer who interviews you is in! THAT'S ALL! Don't worry! You'll be here before you know - My AP lasted 17 days. I went to USCIS website and had the cellphone notification activated, so when my AP was over, I got notified. Europe & Eurasia (except the UK and Russia)	Vaccines??	Tell her to go to Pastour Institute in Tehran and go to vaccination section and tell them that she needs to vaccine for immigration to USA, they know every thing. They give her a yellow card and stamp name and date of all the vaccines that they inject her and she needs to have the card with her when she goes for medical exam in Ankara and also when she goes for medical exams here in the US. I injected Hepatitis 3 times and MMR twice. I guess these days Pasture doesn't inject MMR because they are so busy, I think she has to inject MMR in Tehran University and take their confirmation to Pasture to stamp her yellow card. Pastour's Yellow Card is the ONLY accepted document in Ankara and US. After coming to the US they inject TB when she goes to medical exam. US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Anyone else trying to get an interview at Abu Dhabi?	I got an interview date for K1, but any way I answer back since I believe getting an interview date is getting an interview date no matter what the case is: Yes, they are quite busy because they not only handle cases of Emitates, they hold cases of Iranians also. They are recently giving interview dates for next 3 months. I never tried calling them but I sent them 5 e-mails and I recieved their replies in two working days. Please note that they are closed Friday and Saturday. They gave me interview date 1 month after NVC sent my file to them. NVC kept telling me that they got the file while they kept saying that they didn't get that... I was getting so worried that I learned they just answer that way to get rid of callers and their answer cannot be true so I tried calling the Department of State instead (before 5pm: 202-663-1225 press 1 then 0) to find out my interview date. Stick to the Iranian portal page for updated information and get prepared by the guides you get from the "Iranians" only! Actually K1 process through UAE embassy is not like Ankara embassy or any other that they have to get your documents before making an appointment with you. Your daughter in law should take all of her documents to embassy with herself when she goes for interview. They will send a combo packet containing packet 3 & 4 to YOU SON not her. No need to wait for the package to arrive. Tell her to download all the forms from internet herself. The only thing your son should do now is to fill in I-134 and prepare all its relevant documents. Will he join her for the interview? if yes, he can take I134 and documents with himself and if he is not going to UAE, he should send them to her by fast carrier (DHL) - she must have them with herself for interview. I was sincerely waiting for a good news!!! But don't worry! It's gonna be ok soon... It's true, she shouldn't have taken a CD instead of hardcopy of the letters. I've noticed that some poeple here even make beautiful scrapbooks and put their photos and letters in order to show how important their relationship is for them. As I study cases here, I've noticed that it's not just about Iranians or any particular nation, their rules are the same for every one... Canadians, British, German, Chinese and all others have to prove their relationship is real and not a scam. Things are going to be ok... My fiance wrote to the embassy and explained that he couldn't attend due to some works and asked them to reschedule it. They answered our email the day after and informed a new date. US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Calling all Iranians!!!	I met many Iranian people there who were so friendly and happy. They talk to you in such a friendly way as if you have been friends for a long time and in twinkle of an eye all the butterflies in my stomach flew away and the nightmare turned to a happy day. Even the guard at the gate was friendly because I walked from my hotel which was pretty close to the embassy to explore the area a day before and he recalled my face once he saw me. It was cool! The guy who first called me to take my documents was an Indian guy and the lady who interviewed me was a black Americal lady who was so kind and professional. She didn't ask many questions. She just asked my name and if we have ever met before and just glanced at only one of the photos in my photo album and then gave that back to me. She asked for nothing else. I had 500 emails, 200 faxes, 400 pages of our Yahoo chat record, 100 letters and postcards but she looked at none of them at all. I even told her that I had so many evidences with me, she just turned her face to take a look and said, "oh good"! It took only 5 minutes. But we waited for 2 hours. Tell her to be cool and do not panic at all. They already know what they have to tell her and she is there just to show she is real. ALSO tell her to take a jacket with her. It was cold in there! The lady who interviewed my friend the day after me told her that it would take a week to stick the visa in her passport so she could have some one else to pick up the visa for her. Some told me to give my passport to a travel agent to pick that up for me... but I just can't do this. I cannot trust any agent at all! So I'm going to take care of it myself... It's so unfair!!!! Is sticking visa in passport that difficult and time consuming? Employees of embassies must be so happy with their easy jobs! I wish I could find a job in an embassy some day!!!
