Awesome! I really dont feel like waiting 17 months. omg. It's crazy. It's been 5 months and I'm already worried I'll have to wait another year!!! Which is insane for a green card, like so If I wanna visit my family in my country this summer I have to apply for travelling permission? and/or when my EAD expires before I've even recieved my Green card I have to renew my EAD? Such a hassle............I pray to god they speed things up. :) or everybody's sake.

Thanks for the info! :)

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresI-864 Clarification
If you are the petitioner then YOU have to file the form I-864. I'm in the same situation, however Im the applicant in the process of app. for my adjustment of status (green card) and Employment authorization. I had my husbands mother fill in the form I-864 because she meets the financial requirements and my husband just started working full-time and have been in school for the last one and a half years and before that collected un-employment. I thought it would be the right way to do so, but it wasn't, today I received a request for evidence from the USCIS requesting my petitioner (the person that filed the I-130 or I-129F) to file the I-864 and any additional household member that you want to add for additional support like siblings or parents etc. should file the I-864A.

So I have to do the whole thing over again, so I want you t avoid that because it's gonna cause the process time to be longer then you want. Finger crossed tat this wont pro-long my process time too much. Just follow the instructions for I-864 and fill it in yourself if you are the petitioner for your husband coming to the US. and have additional supporting household members file I-864A.

Trust me, I have the papers from the USCIS in my hands stating I need my petitioner file the form.

Hope this helps you :)

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Proceduressent cosponsor info to consulate
something similar happen to me.
I had my interview at the US embassy of my country before receiving my K1 finacé visa, and when I was there they couldn't proceed with my application before I had provided them with some additional evidence from my affidavit support/sponsor. So had my sponsor attach all the info in an e-mail sent to them, i think they wanted to see some tax returns and proof of US citizenship, proof of employment etc. they received it and I was like "now what?"
The only info the embassy would give me was that the consular office had received the additional evidence and nothing else. But one-two weeks later I got my passport back with my K1 fiancé visa, accepted. So it went by quick after that. (for me at least, at the US embassy in Stockholm.)

Good luck:) I guess you can't do much more then wait for now...:/

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresQuick question on how we met letter.
I wish I could see what my husband wrote about how we met when he filed the I-129F. lol, knowing him not being too detailed and not liking to share to much private information he prob. kept it really simple. :P and we got accepted, think he attached like 1-2 photos a flight ticket. very little.
it got accepted, and when I went in for my interview in at the US embassy in Sweden I brought soooooo much evidence, like 10 photos, a bunch of flight tickets, post cards, letters u name it, they never asked to see a thing...and they asked me a total of like 6 question, it took seriously 5 min, and I couldn't even answer the questions to a 100% "when did his parents divorce?" me: "i don't know?...sometime when he was little" and she looked all serious at me, I was really worried :P but 1 week later I got accepted for my K1 fiance visa.

I think it also depends from what country you're immigrating from, if it's a low fraud country...keep it simple.
if the relationship is real, it's real and it doesn't need to be forced to prove too much.
