Sure! My travel agency is

ALISTO TRAVEL AND TOURS INC.,

She is very accommodating and kind. I received my e-ticket receipt few hours after I pay my ticket, for only $578 all taxes included even the Phil Travel tax and I also have 1st time immigrant discount. I called PAL to confirm my travel date and my name is in there system already. good.gif

PhilippinesInterview date
QUOTE (philmae83 @ Nov 25 2009, 11:51 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
as i have posted here before that my husband emailed embassy manila to have my interview re schedule and also 5 days they sent us response email as this:

Reference: xxxxx xxxxx

Date: November 20, 2009

Dear Mr. xxxxx:

This is in reply to your inquiry of November 16, 2009, regarding the immigrant visa case of the referenced individual. We have referred your message to the responsible processing team for appropriate action.

We have not received the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)-approved petitions filed on behalf of the applicants. The case is presently with the State Department’s National Visa Center (NVC) which schedules immigrant visa cases for us. We expect to receive the case file shortly. The applicant has been rescheduled for a visa interview on December 1, 2009. At that time, a consular officer will determine if he is eligible for a visa.

The applicant need not wait for the hard copy of the appointment letter and can download the visa appointment packet and forms from our website at http://manila.usemba...v/wwwh3238.html. The applicant should follow all interview preparation instructions for visa applicants located on the Embassy’s website. The instructions contained at the website will provide the applicant with the required documentation and procedures to follow prior to the interview date.

we were so happy that we got my interview date re scheduled but because they dont put the specific time, i decided to call embassy yesterday and the agent said that he did not see our file in the system yet so he cannot give me what i am asking which is an appointment letter with exact time but he adviced me to email the embassy again and ask for exact time or just print the letter reponse that have the re scheduled date and be at the embassy before 7am..

so my husband tried to email embassy again and they replied with this:

Reference: xxxxxxx, xxxxxx xxxxxxxxx
Date: November 25, 2009

Dear Mr. xxxxxxx:

This is in reply to your inquiry of November 24, 2009, regarding the visa case of the referenced individual.

We received the electronic file from the State Department's National Visa Center (NVC) on November 24, 2009 and should receive the U.S. Immigration Service-approved visa petition shortly.

Records indicate that the applicant has been scheduled for a visa interview on December 10, 2009. We have no record of a December 1 interview appointment.

If you or the applicant would like to reschedule the visa appointment, you should contact the Embassy's Visa Call Center at telephone 1-909-101-7878 to reschedule the visa interview date. The Call Center number is for subscribers of PLDT and Smart telephone touchtone landlines with national and international distance dialing features (NDD or IDD access). Callers in the USA can contact the Call Center at 1-888-877-9888. The Call Center is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Manila time). There is a fee assessed to callers by the Call Center for its services.

now we are so confuse... my husband email them again and attached that first emailed they sent us with the re scheduled date

what should we do now?

i am thinking they are not reliable with their information if they are changing decisions

hope i can get your inputs about this

thank you

GO with the December 1 interview... just present your re-scheduled interview date... pretty sure they will honor that... Goodluck...

Congratulations to those who have passed the interview!!!

My fiancee had her interview on 1 Dec but received the "white" because her police clearance from Japan was not ready yet. She received the call this morning that it is now ready and she is going to pick it up tomorrow and immediately turn it in to the USEM. We are so excited. I just hope that she gets her visa before Christmas. That is the only present I want this year!!!

Again, congrats to all who received the "pink". Good luck to everyone yet to interview or those waiting with the "white". I know how bad the waiting is, but one day very very soon we will be together.

also had dec 1 interview too but was already in white slip because they did not find my passport and medical reports that day! i emailed them last thursday and got response friday that they received medical reports and is now on review...and emailed them again yesterday and got response that is still on review..this process taking so long...and it's really not my fault that i dont have my medical reports that day because i am done with my medical oct 22! hoping i will receive my visa very soon..

hi philmae, still haven't receive your visa? anyway, on my part, i just tracked my visa a while ago via air21 website and it indicate there that the shipment left the AIR21 Gateway at CARGOHAUS... maybe i will receive it by tomorrow... thank god... i'm so excited... hope you will receive yours too as soon as possible...

Thanks to all VJ'ers for guiding me on this journey... BIG, BIG THANKS TO ALL OF YOU...

Here's my interview experience...

Got December 08, 2009 interview (6:30AM)

Left in the house: 4:30AM

Arrived at US Embassy Manila: 6:40AM (a little bit late coz of car accident along South Luzon Expressway) no0pb.gif

First, i presented my appointment letter and my ID to one of the guards at Immigrant / US Citizen Lane, then the guard told me to proceed to Gate 2 (NO electronic devices allowed and any liquid stuff). Upon entering Gate 2, they asked me to put my bag on the xray machine for bag screening then after that I followed the BLUE ARROW then the guard looked for my appointment letter again and fall in line to get my priority number, then my number flashed on the screen after 5mins. for pre-screening.

PRE-SCREENER QUESTIONS:

1) What is your name?
2) Who is your petitioner?
3) How did u meet?
4) When was the last time you saw him?
5) Proofs (Photos, Emails, Chat Logs, Remittances)
6) When did u get married?
7) Do you have previous marriage before this marriage?
8) How about your husband? Do he have previous marriage before this marriage?

After the pre-screening i was told to proceed to finger scanning, then after about 15mins. my number was flashed again on the screen for final interview. As I've entered the room I saw a tall white american ( i don't feel any nervous upon seeing him... hehehe... he's nice and in good mood).

FINAL INTERVIEW QUESTIONS:

1) What is your name?
2) Who is your petitioner?
3) Raise your right hand and swear...
4) How and where did u meet?
5) When did u get married?
6) Do you have previous marriage before this marriage?
7) How about your husband? Do he have previous marriage before this marriage?
8) Do you or your husband have children?
9) How young are you and your husband?
10) What does he do for living?
11) Where is your husband's present address?

After just 1min. my number was flashed again on the screen and got the famous pink slip and proceed to Air21 booth to pay for my visa delivery.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresMy Interview Experience USEM (manila) Dec 8
QUOTE (glennfabian @ Dec 8 2009, 02:42 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
(Don't bring cellfone or other electronic gadgets. Otherwise you will have to leave it to the vendors outside and you have to pay them P100.)

My schedule is 8:30am... I arrived 6:40am.
It's just in time to get seated with other applicants scheduled at 8:30am.

Then a few minutes later the 8:30 applicants stand in line to get a number.
During this time be prepared to bring out the interview appointment letter. Hand them over the papers and they will give you your number.

You will seat and wait for your number to be shown on the electronic board. Be alert. It's not in any particular order. But as for me I waited about 1&1/2 hour.

When your number is shown, it has a corresponding window where you will go. It's either you go to the pre screener or the finger printing. I was assigned to the finger printing. Then I stand in line again, they will get your number. And you should rub your hands as if your heating them so that it will be moist and easier to be scanned. And then they return the number and you will go back to your seat and wait again for your number to be shown on the board.

I waited for about 2 minutes and my number is shown again. This time to the pre screener. I have prepared all my documents in three separate flexible plastic organizers so that it will fit on the window. ( window is about 2 inch by 12 inch) and it has a downward curve. One of my folders contained all the proof of relationship (pics, emails, chatlogs, greeting cards, letters etc. ) That is the only one the pre screener asked for.

The pre screener also asked me several questions. (how we met, when, who petitioned my wife, what's her job, how long she's been in the US, asked me if i've ever been out of the country and why...). They will forward the documets to the consul. And then go back to your seat and wait again for your number to be shown on the board.

I sat but my number was immediately shown on the board. And then I sat outside the interview room and waited for the previous applicant to finish before i get in. When I got in, the consul asked me almost the same questions. but this time it took me around 5 minutes. And then he said congratulations your visa is approved. Pls go back to your seat and wait for the number and they will give further instructions.

When i sat, my number was already showing again. so i went to the corresponding window and they just said pay the Express Mail so that the Passport will be sent directly to your home. I signed it and paid P205. So i expect to receive it 3 to 5 days since i live in manila. I got out around 9:30am.

smile.gif I'm very happy and I'm still in the mood to celebrate hehe biggrin.gif. I hope this helps. And also pls ask if you have any other questions. Thank You.

congrats GLENN and to you too FRANSHA...
