The doc told my mother in law not to worry to just go to the interview that everything would be fine. Interview is on the 16th. Caribbean	Do the consulado change PHONE NUMBER after their moving - DR???	yeap!!!   they say all document they receive take 4 to 6 weeks to be process from the day they receive.   but at least i know they have the medical result . but they didnt receive yet the passport. we sent it from DOMEX in Santiago. that means also that when they receive the passport it will take 4 to 6 weeks more to be stamped   but we took advantages on this...  as soon we received the call from the consultorio the visa we sent it.   on that way when they process the medical result they will have on hand the passport.. .not excuse to wait.	pazram	Female	Dominican Republic	2014-06-24 18:05:00

Maybe your question can be answered on here or if you are in DR they have walk in hours on Thursday. hi Noelia...   yes you are right a lot of question can be answered here and i am completely sure of this.  but sometimes we have more personal question that we feel better when we ask directly to a person looking your case number..   our case was different you has to now this because everything that happen i post here... the reason i am calling them is because i want to know if they got the result, if they got the passport, my fiance did not take the vaccine in DR i want to be sure that the consulado do not be waiting for the vaccine record because he will be taking here in US as soon he enter.and of course i want to know when we go to get back the passport.   thanks.	pazram	Female	Dominican Republic	2014-06-23 15:21:00

Caribbean	Visa approved but need joint sponsor - Jamaica	for joint sponsor also you have to fill out I 864 ....there is   a part on that form that say "only for joint sponsor" select that one. is your visa in AP?...mine fiance and other members say AP but is when is missing something in my case is MEDICAL RESULT missing. do they gave you back the passport? do they told you that they go to send you the visa as soon they receive the missing documents? this questions are because you have to be sure you are approved. hoping this was.   good luck!!!!	pazram	Female	Dominican Republic	2014-06-18 13:05:00

I called her when we hit the nine week mark and she said everything was fine and it was to be sent to embassy but it has been like three or four weeks since then and they havent called or anything, not even asked to deposit the passport. can you tell me how was the process and timing for you after the nine week mark? God helping us he will be here by the end of August if they work fast!!   Your most recent CEAC update makes me feel sure it will change to ISSUED... VERY soon!!! Predilecta got hers IN HAND about 4 days after the Embajada received it and notified them they had it...   They said they had all paperwork on the 9th and by the 14th her Fiance had passport/Visa en mano!   So Maayybbeee TODAY is your day!!! :joy:I hope so!!! I am so happy to see you and Pred get your Visas so quickly after results are back!!!   Did you email them or call recently?? sometimes they update the status again if you have contacted them but if you haven't then I feel good that it is a sure sign his Visa is coming the next few days or before the end of the week!       Yes it is always hard to leave him over and over... It gets harder and harder each time... This last time I was sitting at the airport outside of security gate and was seriously considering calling him and tell him to just come back and get me and I would stay and let them repossess my home and car... that maybe I could find work there.... but he lives in very poor conditions and I get sick one way or another every time I visit... I saw already her visa was issued!!! THAT must be AWESOME!!!!! I was going to try and check her process timeframe by reviewing her posts about it... lol   This is jjust GREAT!!! Because they have all the papers, they approved you at the interview, only was missing the tb results. they have the tb from june 17 so why wait more to issue the visa? Caribbean	why did the case say ISSUED instead READY again ??????	I do remember... Do you recall if you called or emailed the Embassy on the 17th?? I ask because you updated me/us to say that they had updated your case status that day and I wondered if they updated it because YOU contacted them or did they maybe update it because they received the Medical Exam really fast or electronically maybe??   AMIGA...   the only think that i know is that after i started calling them ,,,they started updating almost everyday or each 3 days...you can see on all this post and another post. if i see something that i didnt understand immediately i called them.   BUT be careful amiga...yesterday JUNE 30..i have CEA in front of me on my computer and the case said ready and waiting for the interview and documents i called them,,,and do you want to know something?...the girl was telling me the case say AP and i had to wait 3 months after that day she was looking on the moment i was talking with her,,,i told her..may computer say one thing and you are telling me another thing,,,,,she told me because their system are updated each 2 or 3 weeks....they are only simple operators that only say the thing they see on their system..... i wont call them again.	pazram	Female	Dominican Republic	2014-07-01 20:41:00
