we also filed in October 06 - NOA1 received on 11th October, and touched on the 16th October - nothing since then...I too am getting impatient about the long wait ahead...

I-129fs filed with NSC and TSC are forwarded to CSC.


However, if the instructions on I-129F say you should send your petition to NSC or TSC, that's where you should send them to.

thank you, i was just hoping i sent it back to the right place, there was nothing saying to send it back through

because as i stated earlier i got my petition back today because of a calendar issue. ( ha ha ha )
but i mailed it off to Nebraska, and it was returned to me from Calif. so thats where i re-mailed the
petition this time, hoping to save some time on the process.

I finally got my NOA1 and a login so I can see how many times my application gets touched. I have a quick query, how many times did you guys get touched on average before hitting NOA2? I don't want to get excited at each tiny movement if it's not important :)

I'm so glad to finally hit this point, it's taken us a long time to get here so it's fantastic to have actually filed!

but not by only a few months or days. but by years!!!!!! four to be exact. with so much running through my
head that day i wrote 09-20-02 instead of 09-20-06 :o :wacko: all is better now though i have just re-mailed
the petition off today and yes this time i have the right year.
heres hoping i didn't mess anything else up.

its "notice of action" and the noa1 means that the uscis has recieved your petition.

:dance: :dance: THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WHO SENT ME THE KIND WORDS, I just got off the phone with the NVC and YES they just put our petition into the computer!!!!! I'm soooooooo happy we even got our number. She did however say that it was going through Administrative processing and Review...and that she didn't know how long that would take...hopefully not to long. I asked her if that was normal and she said yes. What a relief.....THANKS EVERYONE...I'LL UPDATE YOU ALL AS I GET MORE INFO!!!!

Just how do you check the processing times, everyone talks about. i've been all over the uscis website
and all i can find is the reciept date of the cases they are now processing. how do i calculate this to know
if my case is withing the time frame or not?
i know that i'm new to this and still have a ways to go in the wait game. i'd just like to be able to count the
innings. thanks in advance for any and all help.

recieved the noa 1 in the mail. the date on the noa 1 as the recieved date is 10/10/2006. and the notice
date is 10/11/2006. i originally put 10/16/2006 as my noa 1 date cause i was to excited at the time.

Hello again,

I have not written much, but last night I received the email stating that Elena's I-129F is now approved. I will update my timeline today for everyone.

A few weeks ago I predicted a trend, and I guess I got lucky that I was right. I want to thank everyone on here for the support that everyone gives each other. I never realized how it was helping me even though I was just readying other peoples posts (pain?)... I wasn't alone. I know that mine was a realatively fast approval (less than 70 days out of CSC) but any wait is difficult.

We sent in the I-129f to the VSC on 11/20/06. On 11/27/06, the application was sent back saying that the form sent was out of date, and the revised one needed to be sent. This was clearly the fault of the immigration lawyer who downloaded the wrong form. Will this affect how the USCIS views the case? Will they see it as the fault of the Lawyer or will they view it as our fault????



i don't think it will really matter. i sent in my packet with a money order that hadt he wrong date
on it. i don't really believe they will care as long as the right form is sent back in.
but this is just my opinion.

So happy!!! I just checked the website this morning but it had not updated. When i went to check my mail box I had a letter from the CSC saying i was approved. I guess CSC isnt doing emails. Amazing how you can go from hating everyone at CSC to loving them with 1 little letter. :) Good luck to all those that have not recieved their NOA2s yet.

Well the stage of actually being issued the k-1 is over and done with, i am flying out this evening (tuesday) once again to Gerogia, although this time not as a student, not for a holiday, but to live with the love of my life. Whoo hooo!! :yes: Visa was approved today!! She said the interview process went really well, everyone at the Romania, Bucharest Embassy was nice. Interview took about 15 minutes and they gave her the Visa!! Were both happy and excited.. on to planning the Wedding & her move!

Just as I was getting a bit depressed and even posted a topic regarding withdrawing my K1 and simply getting married next month in Colombia, I pulled up the web page and had been touched. I then checked the status and it had been approved. Within a minute I received like 12 emails of APPROVAL. Thanks for those who told me to be patient. It's a lesson well learned. Thanks!!!!

just wondering something. i received a letter dated 01/19/2007 stating that the nvc has received my approved I-129F petition. and it even gives me a case number. ok so i called the automated service to find out when they had received the petition and when they may be sending it off to Auckland.
when i entered the case number they gave me they said they had no record of my case.
just wondering how to find out, would like to be able to fill out my timeline. thanks for the help
