People going to the Moscow clinic are best served by information specifically to that clinic. Also it is not recommended to post your private phone number in public forums. Your choice. Hello all, Just looking forward to NOA2 sometime in the next two months I was getting things ready for the interview, and it looks like they finally updated the Moscow embassy website. The website now encourages that the petitioner attend the interview..Has anyone recently interviewed or heard about whether it is necessary for the petitioner to attend the interview? I'd love to see my fiancee again, but it is expensive as you all know. Thanks alot! I struggled with this question to attend the interview. All US Embassies have about the same policies. Yes, it is better to go for the interview. In my case I could not because of finances and time off. I think the question is what the councilor is really looking for. I was trying to find the web link for you that describes a US Embassy Counselors Training. For some reason I cannot find it on Google this evening. The councilor is looking for 4 things in the interview. 1. Fraud 2. Legitimacy of the relationship. 3. Petitioner’s ability to support. 4. Proper Documentation. If you are not going to be at the interview, please prepare documents from the Councilor point of view. I am confident that your fiancée will do well. Like most of you say, the whole process is more painful and the stressful but the interview is a reward.I have been browsing around in Montreal since noon when my fiance left to USA. Philippines	Minila Saint Lukes is screw up	Jean went for her scheduled two day exam today. She had her Appointment of confirmation for her interview on April 27th as required by their website. She did not receive her letter to her address that confirmed that the K-1 was approved. The guard would not let her go to Saint Luke’s. The US Government has contracted this Hospital to exclusively perform the exams of immigrant and nonimmigrant exams. I now question why the Embassy does not follow their own policy. On their website they explain that they would accept the documents that my fiancée provided. This is total abuse by Saint Luke’s Guards. I was on the phone for several hours today talking to the Manila Embassy. Even though our documents have been with the Manila embassy and my fiancées address has been checked 2 times, she has not received the letter from the Manila Embassy. It is a catch 22. She is scheduled for her interview on April 27th at 6:30 am. I am very upset! What in the hell are the government employees doing? I am also a Government Employee working for the Departement of Transportation; I think that I am going to go forward with a Congressional Investigation on the Manila Embassy. The big question is why the Embassy is allowing Saint Luke’s to not go by US policy? All my documents have been exact and precise. As an American citizen, I will not tolerate this behavior. Philippines	Fed Ex to the Philippines	DHL has more of a presence in the PH than any other one but the local carriers. They also have more of a internation presence as well, thats why I use them. It doesn't hurt that I am friends with everybody up at DHL here on Kandahar Airfield. So they let me know all the promotions going on, and even other deals as well. I just thought that Fed Ex Management was under the same work ethics as US employees. I have work with a competitor for many years. I am confident that the Manager in Manila intentionally delivered the package one day prior to the interview. The package arrived in Manila and arrived at our apartment 9 days later. They would not allow my fiancée to pick up the package even though the package cleared customs and was in their possession. This is against Fed Ex policy. I think the Manager flexed her athority becasue my second request included the abusive language that the manager used. Dennis PS: I should of just let it go. I put some personel letters to Jean and other things like tabs, tape, and other supplies to organize the documents prior to the interview. My Brother used Johnny Air to ship their documents. Philippines	Fed Ex to the Philippines	I sent the final documents to my fiancée for her interview in Manila. I heard about Johnny Air but elected to use Fed Ex because of their reliability. I sent the document package 13 days prior to her interview. The package arrived in Manila 2 days after being sent. After 5 days we started to get worried that the documents would not be released prior to the interview. I called Fed Ex several times to see if the documents could be released. My Fiancée also call the manager in Manila. The manager would not return her call even though employees at Fed Ex said she would. She was always on a coffee break or at lunch. After a couple of days I complained to Fed Ex. The Fed Ex manager finely returned the call. She was very rude to my Fiancée. Two days prior to the interview we threatened Fed Ex with canceling our $100,000 + per year account with them. The very next day the package was delivered. The documents were in disarray and some of the Constance was stolen from the Fed Ex document package. Warning: if you use Fed Ex to Manila, please go to your doctor "first" and get high blood perssure pills The good news is that she passed her interview and will be on her way to the USA this month! Philippines	after the interview WOW here we go again!!!!!	Sometime we must take a big breath and just breathe. This process would be humorous if it were not effecting every facet of our life’s. My fiancée passed her interview and went to the required counseling in Manila. They did not except notarized parents’ consent and photos of when we meant. They wanted a hand written consent. I called her Mother and Father and asked them if that would go with her to prove that they consent. They both agreed. I just off the phone and they are on their way now. Why is this so stressful? I cannot believe another can affect your life so much. We have done all documents exactly what is required, and then now, what will they ask for, my shoe size? LOL Please pray for us! They will not except her parents notarized. They now want their parents approval hand written and notarized. They further want more requiring actual photo graphs that can be notarized by a photo person that took the pictures.. What is going on? "The lady at the CFO Orientation asked her for my proof of support and proof of employment. Right when things seem to be over the Lady wanted to see my driver’s license. Luckily we included the license in the document binder. Then she asked for a copy of my Passport. Then the lady asked her Parents to produce their driver’s licenses."
