Well,it is almost April the 1st where I am.So,the month of March has one and a half hour left...
I wish all of us who is waiting to definately get what they are waiting for next month:interviews,invoices,packages reviews and acceptance,case numbers,approvals after all!If not whole thing at least get closer ,step by step.Most of all I wish to stay patient and positive!We know why we are doing it,right?

Yeah, well the K-1 applicants have their interviews assigned directly by the consulate, don't they? So presumably that's why it gets done faster. There's no intermediary scheduling step between the consulate and NVC.

But it is definitely unfair, especially since K-1 seems to be faster than CR-1 overall!

Moscow Embassy even lets K-1ners choose their own preferrable date!
Yeah,no respect to IR-CR-1 :blink: at all

Still no interview ...NVC keeps saying they are doing it in two weeks,but for now awaiting for the Embassy to schedule...Embassy says theya are awaiting for the package from NVC ,so they can schedule...Both getting on my nerves...

Have you guys continued, compiling more "EVIDENCE" after I-130 was submitted?
(such as more skype logs, phone records, email etc etc...after I-130 was submitted?)

Wondering if we need it for the Interview? or do we just take duplicate of what we sent to USCIS when I-130 was submitted?



We sure have-more pictures,few more vacations,tickets,and visas...I think it will be helpfull in case the CO does want to take a look (lately they do not even care...but with our luck we want to be as ready as we can be)

Yep... part of the Department of Homeland Security (a name that has always bothered me.. sounds far too much like something else).

We're lucky that TSA feelups aren't required just to get the visa... though, it does kill me that I'm going to have to apologize to Sue for the TSA when she comes here.. :( :angry: :ranting:

Just got off hold... no date scheduled, but also no "We're done with April" nonsense either.

I guess I'll just call back this evening and see if anything has changed by then...

And tomorrow...

And the next day....


I have the same plans as you...tomorrow...the day after...and hoping that would be it!

They just told me the same thing "they are done with April's scheduling and there's a chance for the 2nd week of May to be " appears to be generic response as we are within different Embassies and got the same answer.

Called to see if the interview day is out yet...did not get the "done w/April thing" but heard the same about scheduling on the 2nd week of the month bla-blah-blah...
ok,will call later
P.S.like this stage much more than at USCIS ,at least there is communication going on

Good Morning !
I am sorry ,I was out travelling with a slow connection,so no posting,no updating my timelines..So,here we are:the case is complete as of yesterday !!!!Took longer than it could`ve because they assigned the wrong embassy at the begginning...So we were getting diffferent info from different operators,one was saying pay the bill do not wait for a change,the other was -wait do not pay....well,we ended up paying with the wrong embassy,and they merged "two "files ,which is in reality only one.

Anyways,now awaiing for the interview to be set up.

Special thanks to Laure&Colin and,of course,Saylin!Very informative,very helpful and what most important is encouraging!We needed that!

Sent in 1-130 in March,NOA-1 on March 26th.Nothing for 5 months,called in they said call back when it`s 5 months and 30 days out of processing...we did...they put in a service request to inquire...we got a letter stating that they are doing an additional background check in a week after request...was saying can take up to another 6 months..however in another week got a RFE on 3 pages(not specific for us,standard for everyone)...sent back all the prooves they asked for...waiting again
