Preparing my departure ( sale my car, rent my apartment...) getting papers ready once we receive the NOA2! My fiance is coming visiting me in France for 15 days in May definitely can't wait, we haven't seen each other for 3 months and will enjoy this time spent together while waiting for NOA2! They ask for dated pictures and passport stamps thing that i included in the first package the first time but i would say that the person who was taking care of our petition spilled his coffee on it! I'm starting to worry about our approval taking longer than 5 months...I've been dead excited to get to July and now I'm nervous that I wont hear anything! I know its such a bad attitude to have, and all my friends and family tell me I can't think like that but I know you all understand the ups and downs of waiting and waiting and waiting on this NOA2!!! If they want more than that (like official documents of engagement), I don't have it either because it was more like a ceremony involving family and friends. Good luck in the rest of your journey. Sometimes USCIS rely on official documents released from official organizations, such as churches, as a concrete proof of being engaged to each other. It realy depends on the person who is handling your application. Some may be even bother asking for RFE, while others are so hard and trying to be more accurate than it's realy required. Send them pictures that were dated recently, the most recent one, not three years ago. They need to make sure that you still have that strong relationship until now at the same rate you showed them through these pictures dated three years ago. What i did is sent pictures from since we have met and seen each other and included more pictures of us and proof of relationship within the last 2 years as asked by USCIS. Did you submit any proof of engagement along with your application such as engagemnt report released by a church, or any other official documents to show that you were officially engaged, other than pictures and statements? That is the information they will be looking for. If evidence is date stamped before 2010, then they will need more recent evidence than this. The rules state that you must have been physically together in the same place within the last 2 years. Yes we did I visited him in May 2011 for 3 weeks, he came visiting me in September 2011 and i came visiting him again for 3 month from November 2011 to february 2012 and he came again visiting me in May 2012 for 2 weeks. Sorry if this sounds dumb, I'm pretty tired so might have read this wrong...but you said you had pics dated within THREE yrs and statements saying you've known each other longer than two yrs. Have you met in person in the last two years? We met each other on february 2010 and we have seen each other several times since the last 3 years! i suppose USCIS lost the documents because they are asking for dated pictures and passport stamps and i've already included those documents in the first package i sent in January! I suppose they lost all the documents because they are asking for evidence that we have met within 2 years This is what i put in the package when i sent it 3 month ago ( i sent pictures of us dated within the last 3 years, plane tickets, passport stamps, letter of friends and family with ID that certifies we know each other since more then 2 years, facebook messenger conversation, skype conversation, letters, emails...) K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Any February 2012 filers?	Hi gang, It's a sad day for me, the day this journey becomes irrelevant to me. We broke up today. There's been one major issue I've been waiting for him to make up his mind about and he finally has and it qualifies as an irreconcilable difference sadly. Heartbroken doesn't begin to describe it, I'm in that phase, I can't stop crying, i won't be able to sleep, it'll be tough going for a really long time. Plus I will have my son to break the news to and that is the worst of part of it all. I've already started re-initiating him to our "just-the-two-of-us" theme. I also have practical matters to attend to as I begin to reconsider the direction of my life. In a strange way, I am still so glad because I have read too many sob stories on here, I didn't want to be one of those people who find themselves stranded in a foreign country because something went awry so when this issue came to my attention, I opted to deal with it head on so that no matter what, there are no surprises in the future. So, I'm a wreck right now, but thank God, I'm a wreck in my home country and I will figure it out. I just had to let you guys know, you will inevitably be hearing a lot less from me but I will all the same update my timeline when NOA2 comes in for the benefit of other members in the future. I wish all of you so much joy and happiness in your lives, the visa is just the beginning, I'm praying most of all that the rest of your lives be filled with love and peace as He intended for us. So, I have a confession to make; I've been one of those creepy lurkers reading this forum without actually posting anything, so that comes to a stop now! Just a quick intro - I'm Dan, live in NYC. My fiancee is Lindsey. We met here while she was attending grad school, but she had to move back to South Korea once her student visa expired. It was only until after that she left that we realized that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives with each other, so we've started this whole process. We've been making this long, long, long distance relationship work for nearly a year now. But we know that it'll be worth it in the end. During the whole process of getting the I-129F together, this whole site was a tremendous help. Anyways, just wanted to say hello and commiserate that all this waiting is the worst! Also, I wanted to share this link with you guys: http://dashboard.uscis.gov/ It provides data for the various USCIS offices for the various forms, and you can play with it to see if you can spot any trends and whatnot. Reading some of the time differences between you guys and your fiance(e)s makes me feel incredibly fortunate that we're in the same timezone! And, that I'm lucky enough to be able to hop in a van for 24 hours, and drive to see him next week! (Though after this, I probably won't get to see him until at least June or July because work is getting SUPER busy as of April... we just happen to have a really slow March, so my boss told me she's happy to let me go for a week) My fiance is in Delray Beach! I spent 3 months with him from november to february been away from him since one month now and it's really hard!
