Whatever you do, be strong, think it hard and careful what a good decision for you. You might have to discuss with him about this or go to the lawyer. If he really loves you or wanna work this out with you, he will find his guilt or realize that he screwed everything and I hope he will come back to you. The problem is, my spouse and I have only been married for less than a year, and live in two different countries. Although we do have a joint lease and evidence of almost daily communication, as well as evidence of my visits to see him, photographs, our marriage certificate, etc. ; we don't have evidence that one would normally not acquire until you were actually residing together. Requiring that kind of evidence before your visa is even approved seems bizarre to me. It's a Catch-22. Besides, it seems to me that getting pregnant in order to improve our chances for a visa would not a wise or ethical decision, although my husband and I would definitely like to have children together - what if the visa were not approved, and you were then not only separated from your spouse, but one of you would be separated from your children as well. Also, it would almost certainly mean going through most of the pregnancy alone, and possibly even going through childbirth alone. Any advice on these two issues (proving household size and bona fide marriage)? I'm new here, and need all the help I can get! Like you said, you guys have been married less than a year. I'm not sure..normally for the tax, my husband put my name and my son on that. For the bona fide evidences like you said again, you visited him, got photos, or even marriage cert, you need to save the msn chat log or whatever log, phone bills, your life insurance, or bona fide letters from your friends or your relatives to prove that your married is real. Cheers! The language barrier was between myself and the judge and court employees - not between my husband and myself. He and I both speak English. However, I do not speak Arabic, and we were married in the UAE. Not only was our family not there (in these economic times it was not fair to ask them to pay $1200 and take so much time off of jobs now precious and rare to attend a short civil ceremony at a courthouse), and we did not have a camera (I had dropped it in water - I do have proof of taking it to get fixed under the warranty). So it really wasn't feasible to take pictures of the actual civil ceremony. It was mostly verbal - there was no physical contact between us during the ceremony, it was more like signing a contract. We have lots of pictures from before and after our wedding (honeymoon pictures) and lots of other evidence. In five months of marriage, I've made two trips to visit him and we've been in daily contact. I find the reason we don't have "marriage" photos very plausible and reasonable. What about you? I think you will be fine..I dont have much pictures on the wedding day..my bro in law...messed up with the VDO..so we didn't have that...as long as you have other evidences...dont worry that much about pics..sometimes, they dont look or ask for the pics..it depends though..anyway, good luck...	natt141	Female	Thailand	2009-12-07 07:51:00
