I mailed them so many times but they didnt have anything positive to tell me. two weeks later i checked my post box only to see my call in letter there. I'll be in Ghana to visit my fiance again in late March. I'm looking at some of your timelines and it looks like I might have an interview by that date? I hope I can reschedule it for the period I'm in Accra? I didn't expect to have an interview until May or June. I also have no idea how much I need to set aside to prepare for this interview. So I'm going to assume the medical is $400 give or take. And I'd like to pay the $240 interview fee online but I don't know how to do that either? I also would like to start getting prepared now. All I have so far is my I-134, tax transcripts & letters from employers. What should I expect to receive in Packet 3 & 4? What documents does my Fiance need to receive to pick up the packet from the embassy? I read people don't always receive the notice in the mail. Can she just go get her health records & police report ahead of time or does that report have to be on formal embassy documentation? I appreciate the help & thanks for sharing this information.   Let him check his post box as soon as possible his call in letter will be could be mailed there. Mine came through the post. I waited for an email notification but nothing came. He will have to present that letter at the embassy to pick up his packets. The packets 3 & 4 will have his interview dates and the documents he needs to present for the interview. The Hospital will ask for the interview date so he can hold on with that one but can go ahead and get the Police report (it takes two weeks to have it ready). It is just off the Danquah Circle and it was fine with the hospital. I had to take 3 shots spread over each month. My husband lives about three hours away from Accra and he has not had any of these vaccinations before. Since at least one of them requires more than one dose, several weeks apart, how does that work? Can he get this taken care of at the local hospital or do we have to go to the medical to get them started and then back again several weeks later? Does that mean we have to pay twice? Just trying to be ready. Thanks in advance.   It depends on the local hospital he will have it done at. To be on the safer side he can go to the regional hospital and have it done. Or go to the embassy approved hospitals and that the process for the vaccines before doing the actual medicals. I have my medicals today so I will keep you posted on whether they accepted the tests I had already and fro which hospitals I did those.   I was also reading that the hospital can write to the embassy explaining that you have done the tests and are still taking the vaccines. I'm starting to feel like this K1 visa is all about money. We putting somebody kids through college with the total amount of money we spending. Lol Th police report is 40 cedis and it takes roughly 2 weeks for it to get ready. I called the hospital and was told to bring along 500 cedis cos I already have Hepatitis and Yellow Fever Vaccines. So if it would help ask your partner to call the hospital and find out. It might not be that much. Africa: Sub-Saharan	info about my fiancé trip to Ghana Embassy	My fiancé got his letter last week telling him to come to the Ghana Embassy to pick up his packet. He said when he got there it was about 20 other people there for the k1visa.he said he gave them the paper notice and he was told to come back at 230 to pick up his packet.when he got back at 230 his name was called and a woman gave him his packet with his medical info which is 400 USD, police report and forms that he needed to go online and fill out. Also it gave him a list of all the info that he needed to bring back to the interview like birth certificate and passport size photo. So he has till February 24th to get everything done. Africa: Sub-Saharan	Is it possible to be unaware of you interview date?	The call in letter was at the po box today and it was stamped by the post office as arriving Thursday April 3rd. So I'm assuming they wouldn't schedule an interview the week after mailing out the call in letter. We will just have to wait until this Wednesday to find out. I hope they have really sent it and it is not lying on someone's desk.   Post Decision Activity On December 12, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. In the mail I included the case number, my name, petitioner and Beneficiary number and i got the above response. Uscis received the petition on 30th October, 2013, they mailed my Fiance the notice of approval on 25th November, 2013  but they actually approved it on the 15th November, 2013. This case is awaiting appointment scheduling for the U. S. Embassy in Accra, Ghana.  Unfortunately, we are unable to predict when these cases will be scheduled for an interview.  A word about the process:  Immigrant visa petitions are processed in the order that they are received at the National Visa Center (NVC). The NVC retains the approved petition until the case is ready for adjudication by a consular officer abroad. My fiancé went to his interview on Feb. 24th and the woman at window 5 said that she wants to see our chat from 2011 and 2012 I didn't know that we were required to send them all of our chat from every year. Or I would have just printed everything. But my fiancé had hundreds of paperwork I printed out everything but that lol. Anyways so now I'm in the process of printing out the 2011 and 2012 paper work for the second interview on March 25 and I just wanted to know if this has happened to anyone else at the Ghana Embassy. And how much of the chat to print out. Also I didn't go to the first one but I'm making plans to also go to this second interview in marcv. Would that be better if I came. I'm thinking that if I came the paper work would be ignored and we can finally get our blue paper! Any help?   I think you should just add the chats from 2011 and 2012 and about that dating site I dunno if they atually send u some sort of notification in your actual email that you signed on or have received a mail from somebody. If they do, I suggest you search through your mail and print that out and put a cover letter on it that you have cancelled your profiles but the notifications from your email are the only thing you could find. I believe you, because my stack is large and getting larger, I'm nervous about this no matter, it's hard depending on someone else's view on what's a bonified relationship!!! I mailed NIV@state.gov today and i got a response that my questions have been forwarded to IVDV@state.gov as that was the right place to send it because it is an immigrant visa. So I mailed the IVDV again but i didn't get the automated response from them. I just need to know the next step to take at this stage.   Your help would be much appreciated.
