this really sucks!! what the heck is going on for it to take soooooo long to get NOA2???
Hire some more people and get it done ..since they(USCIS) are charging so much for it.
Charge a little extra and get it done mofo's.

Yeah your right..I wish they will going to hire an additional staff..I dont know whats going on to USCIS..They charge us a fee, then we tried so hard to make the process legally but they let us wait and wait for the NOA2!!! I hope USCIS really care about..it..Is USCIS had a lot of backlogs or pending applications for K1??????..They did not follow their given TIME FRAME!!!!are they working on it??I dont know???

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsStarting to loose my control now!

Dear VJers,

I just wanted to share my feelings with the people who are in the same process as I am. My fiance and I started the K1 process in February. We got our NOA1 on the 5th of March and we passed the 5 months already.
I'm starting to loose my hope a little! I know they are busy with it, but all this waiting and waiting and hoping for the 5 months to pass and now I just don't know what date to look forward to anymore.

It's just hard to miss my fiance, I'm almost so desperate to buy a ticket to the States and share just a week with my fiance. But actually we can't afford it right now.

I'm just a little disappointed and I hope that there are people who I can share my feelings with.

Thanks..

We just feel the same..I am a November 2011 filer but till now no NOA2!!!! It is really frustrating. VSC makes us to wait and wait..Everything is really getting so hard. We are starting to lose hope. Me and my fiancee really miss each other. Let us pray to God and ask for strength..I hope soon they will going to work ours..I am so sad, so sad..

1 Books or book binder are not a good idea the pre-screener window counter has a small slot, 1"x12" curved bottom. Use two hole prong fasteners or paper clips.

2 First where and when

3 Whole time

4 No

5 Enough to span the timeline of the relationship

6 5 minutes to 20 minutes

7 About you and the petitioner

8 Clear as a bell

9 I think

Hi Srj09,

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsWhat are the right things to do during interview???
Hi Mr. Smiley,

Thank you so much in sharing your interview experience. God bless you and more blessing to come in your marriage life!!!!!!:)

I hope mine will be approved soon......I miss my future hubby so much...

Here is an experience and some questions that have been asked or could be asked.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

My K1 visa was approved just last Thursday Manila time at USEM. Thank you so much for the great info you members provide here. It is very helpful to lurkers like me. I was the first one interviewed at exactly 8:00 am when the US consul's window opened. In just one or two minutes, my interview was over. I could never forget that time. I had to ask the US consul 'am I approved' coz when she said 'ok I approve your visa', the words did not first sink in. I just stood there immobile, listening in utter disbelief. When she confirmed I got approved, I practically jumped and cried at the same time. I thanked her also like several times (I can't recall). 30 minutes later, I had my exit interview and was out of the embassy.

Tips:

1. Overprepare. When the Filipina interviewer asked for my emails and chat logs, I presented 300 pages of paper printouts from emails, YM, Skype, GoogleTalk, etc. She said its ok, keep it. I think that was the deciding moment. Faced with the overwhelming evidence of the existence of a real relationship, all the doubts and questions melted.

2. Smile. When my number flashed on electronic screen, I went to the window and smiled at the Filipina interviewer. I saw her reacted with surprised. Smile is a disarming weapon. It lowered her defenses. And we were practically conversing like friends during the interview. It didn't feel like a cross-examination to me at all. The interview was like a friend talking to another friend.

3. Walk the talk. Smile at the American consul. I was nervous but I know my fiance like the back of my hand so I also had an enjoyable 'conversation' with the American consul. When she verified if my fiance proposed when he came here, I asked her, 'would you like to see the Engagement Party pictures?' I think my willingness to show proof to her queries made her see the fact that our relationship is real. After that she only asked me one question 'when do you intend to marry?'

Here are the questions of Filipina interviewer:

1. Name of Petitioner
2. How did you meet?
3. When did you meet?
4. When did you first see him? January 11, 2012 at airport
5. How many times he visited you? one
6. Does he plan to come back? After we are married to visit.
7. How long did he stay? Two weeks
8. Does he have a son? No children
9. Is he divorced? Widower? When? Never married
10. Are you annulled? When? Never married

Questions of the American consul:

1. Name of Petitioner
2. When did he come visit you?
3. How long did he stay?
4. When did his wife passed away?
5. When was your annulment granted?
6. Did he propose when he came here? Yes
7. When do you plan to marry? Within 90 days of arrival in New Jersey

I hope this review helps the women out there who are also scheduled for fiancee visa interview at USEM. I want to return the favor that you guys extended to me and my fiance. Thank you so much!

9.where does he do for a living?

THE CO only asked to look at pics from a carefully arranged Photo Album she made thats it.

This Question really got to Grace she told me and she said she was a little offended! but I had to explain to her that is the rules. the CO has to make a determination of our Petition for Visa.

"Does it bother you that he is older than you"??

Grace told her: No Maam, it doesnt bother me cause age is just a number and because I love him!!! The CO looked at her and Just smiled! she then told Grace I have no issues with your documents and anything else."CONGRATULATIONs and welcome to the United States of America!

here are some questions to be prepared for.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsWhat are the right things to do during interview???
Hi to all VJ members,

I will be so much thankful, for those who already have the interview experience to share with me in the US EMBASSY MANILA PHILIPPINES. Here are my questions:

  • Do I need to make a scrap books or a book binding for all the supporting documents in our relationships?
  • When the CO ask when and where did u meet your fiancee?? is the answer the first where and when you know him?? or during the time when we were together in person?
  • When the CO ask "How long you were together?" - Is it in person that you were both together or for the whole time you were in your relationship from the time you know each other? (I just want to have a TO THE POINT ANSWER=) )
  • Do I need to have a Baptismal Certificate? or this is optional?
  • Ho many photos of me and my fiancee do we need?
  • Usually, how long the interview it takes?
  • What are the usual questions?
  • are the consular officer or CO talks so clear?
  • When the Consular Officer asks questions-it is really need to answer right away?there is no pause?hhhmh?? i think???
Please give me some tips.I will really appreciate you all to share your interview experience. It will be best if you are in US EMBASSY MANILA PHIL. so that it will help me be ready on it..

Thank you and Godbless you all!!!!!!
