National Visa Center (Dept of State)	always busy!	curious, Why wouldnt you just gothru the automated system... Its basically the same if they have it it will be in their system. Ive spoken to a rep they say its all the same. (they seem to be very receptive) press 1,1,1, then your case letters 1-4 then 1 to confirm, then the case numbers then 1 to confirm... and you should get an answer. National Visa Center (Dept of State)	We have a case Number!!	We just discovered our case is on the way to Vancouver!!! Upon Calling the Automated system for the million'th time and getting the (We have no record of ....) I decide to get to an Operator. She informed me despite the automated system Our case has been done for 2 days now and is already on the way to Vancouver!!! Whoo hooo... one step closer! good luck to all ! I just got off the the phone with a Cust rep from the NVC Inquiring about the process between California and the NVC Since the NCS is the "Dept of the state" and California is "Homeland security" 2 different branches of our government. They correspond I129f I130's etc.. by Snail Mail "BULK MAIL" to be exact. in her opinion anywhere up to 3 weeks to recieve Bulk packaging. further more she explained depending on the country of the applicant in my case Canada/Vancouver they (upon receipt of the case) dont fool around with getting the papaer work out. ususally within a few days and sometimes even the same day!!!.
