I WISH they were approving January/February! I would be dancing if they were. CSC was taking eight months or longer, VSC around six months. It seems CSC is moving faster now. I would recommend expecting your NOA2 in September. Good luck!

All we can do now is just wait patiently I guess >.<, but I am hoping it is faster than 8months our love ones could have been here within that time.

If anyone wants to follow the January 2013 progress I suggest subscribing to the January 2013 thread. If you see my most recent post one January 2013 filer w/o a timeline has claimed to have received their NOA2 but did not follow up on their claim by completing a timeline. Overall I think we're looking at late June if CSC can keep up their current pace but a few may be lucky and get approved earlier than that.

will do thank you :) and i hope so too

Just hang in there. It really takes time and it is a process. You can check the trend through Igor's List in VJ:

http://www.visajourn...filers.php?cfl=

I'm a December filer so my fiance and I are just praying and patiently waiting. Meanwhile you can do a lot of things to occupy your time. God bless!

Thank you so much. I will surely check it and God bless you and your love ones as well

USCIS Service CentersAny January February Filer approved? What's going on with the processing time?

It's hard for everyone, yes, I understand that. But, first come, first served. Please have some compassion for the Jul/Aug/Sept/Oct filers who were just left in the dark while Nov & Dec suddenly got processed.. It's not very fair to wish Jan & Feb to get processed and have all those 2012 filers still feeling the delays. I, myself, am an Oct 2012 filer and while this whole process is a headache & a heartache, I would still like to see ALL the Jul/Aug/Sept applications approved before my NOA1 month gets started on!! Again, I know it's hard. But, remember there are others way worse off than you.. Have heart, and good luck on your journey.

I am sorry you feel that way, but if you notice I did say for those January February Filer approved yet? I didn't say anything about July-Oct I now it must be really difficult for you and that is why I am wondering what is going on with the processing time :). And Yes I do have a heart thank you for your concern (a compassionate nurse here). Don't worry I will surely pray extra hard enough for you and your love one :) and for those who is ''worse off than'' me :) . I don't want no drama or any problem with anybody because I am pretty sure it is hard for everyone not just you or the people who hasn't been approve yet. Some people do just get lucky and let us just be happy for them and wait for our time. God Bless and Goodluck as well :)

USCIS Service CentersAny January February Filer approved? What's going on with the processing time?

I get the impression that the recent moves to backfill some of the July-Oct filers is moving out the average date for 2013 filers like us. I'd seen my timeline reverse back to June for a few days and now it's moving back out following the spurt of activity with "Black Holers" which I expect to continue.

If I was a gambling man I'd say they are making a concerted effort to clear the 2012 backlog. It would be nice (but a surprise) if they move onto 2013 just yet.

Of course I have to add that the VJ timeline is an imperfect thing in a world of imperfection so while it's fun to read, it's the randomness of CSC and VSC which matters.

:) yeah I guess patient will play a big role in waiting for sure. But I just hope it will move faster as it use to

USCIS Service CentersAny January February Filer approved? What's going on with the processing time?

Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between September 8, 2013 and October 10, 2013*.

But if approval rate for CSC continues and finally got done adjudicating all petitions for 2nd half of 2012, most likely you'll get your approval sooner than estimated time.

Good luck on your journey!

Thank you and I hope so too :)

I know the waiting can be very tough but that is part of the process. While you will likeley have to wait a couple of more months, the good news is the worst of the CSC slowdown seems to have past. Those of us that waited 7-9 months are now being approved. CSC is moving at a very fast rate now so I doubt you will have to wait that long. Just keep praying!

Thank you and congrats as well I hope it will be processing soon :D

I know patient is the key to everything at the moment when it comes to waiting for the approval. However, I heard and read that something happened and that is why a lot of us is being held back due to that ''problem''. I don't fully understand whats going on, but the processing time still says July 18 and I got my NOA1 February 6th and I was just wondering How is everyone doing? Do i have to wait another 5-8months to get approve because It is taking long so long :(. I thought filing the I-129f and within 6-8months our significant other should have been arms reach, but nope everything is just being delayed can anyone explain to me what is happening with the USCIS (1-129F) . I know someone who was able to be with their fiancé in 3-4 months and that is why we decided to just get Married here in Hawaii. Now they said it might take almost 8 months just to get approve :(. Been praying and I hope everyone is doing okay because it's so hard being away from your love ones.

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionRe-Scheduling Interview for K1 Visa (PLEASE HELP)

My fiancé already got a spot for tomorrow September 10th  to have an interview. Unfortunately, we don't have all the papers because the second batch of documents sent through FEDEX didn't make it on time consisting my parents signature for I-134.

However, I did scan a new one with their eligible signature and sent it to him Via PDF File form and emailed it. I am not sure if they will allow that or if its possible for them to accept it till the original ones comes this week.

If anything does anybody know whats another new opening this month. We really want to be together by the end of September because its our 1 year anniversary.

Thank you for all the help. All information is much appreciated

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionSection 221G?? Anyone Got this? Please help :( So close yet so far
My fiance' finished his interview on September 10th, 2013. Unfortunately, they kept his passport and sent him this email in order to get approve. Other than that, everything went well just the fact that they didnt accept our co-sponsor but he didnt have enough time with them to explain why my income was low last year. Due to college as well as being a full time and graduated May 2013. I was just a part time and didnt earn enough to meet the poverty guideline. So, I took my both my parents since they are joint it was around 56k with 6 people dependent including themselves. Making me and my fiancé 8th all together. I guess they didnt accept it and want my own income.

I provided my pay stubs and all our w2 form and ITR 2010,11 and 2012. And as well as employee verification.

We are just hoping to send them my new paystubs and an explanation that I was a student including my classes and my degree.

Can anybody explain if this would work or if you guys have any other ideas what should we do. We are so close yet so far. :( I cried thinking what is this happening now when everything was just going to plan But i guess God has His perfect time.

 Thank you po

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsFinally Approved. Thank You Lord and everyone <3

I Cant believe the day I have been waiting for has finally come. We are approved July 29th 2013

''On July 29, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.''

My fiance and I has filed January 31st and Received Noa1 February 4th and we were very persistent. Although, there were times we felt hopeless because we saw so many people being approved and ours has been over 170 days.

I just wanted to share to everyone that you can file an e-request online so that they can check your case status if its over the case processing time. It wasnt too long before they checked it and now we are approved. Not to mention, we called every other week or 2 just to follow up with any update.

Thank you everyone who has been so helpful and been following us this whole journey its just the beginning and I can't wait to be with him soon. I hope you guys have your approval as soon for those who didn't you can try message me and we can do what I did :).

Ps. for those who is already approve what did you guys do right after? waited 2 weeks for the number? I was following the checklist but its so complicated >.<

My case has past the 5 month mark July 4 and I called last week and spoke to a tier 2 rep and they said California service center is behind but they placed a request for case status and they told me to call back in 3 weeks. I'm hoping to hear good news but keep calling.

Not sure if my first comment went through But i want to reply to everyone as much as I can and thank you for your reply I just hope we get our Approval soon goodluck to us all and God Bless :)

I feel your pain.  Its undeniably frustrating when you see approvals for NOA1 dates 2, 4, 6 weeks after yours mellow.png

We're in the same boat... VSC March 7th filer, and seemingly EVERY ONE ELSE in March VSC was transfered to Texas and approved in June/July.  Even April filers.  I'm feeling so helpless.  We hit our 5 months of waiting in one week.

Best of luck!

:( I know right its so hard to be far away from your love one but All we can do is remain patient and wait for our turn Good luck to us indeed and God bless us all :) Thanks for replying and Be strong :)

File E-Request if your case is more than 5 months.

Already Did And I am still hoping for their reply or when I can call them again  :)

You should file the request as soon as possible otherwise I don't think they are going to do anything.I say this because that's what happened to me.I filled the request,I called 4 times,I filed a complain with the ombusdman and finnaly I got my NOA2(Noa1 Jan 30 CSC)
So my advice is to do the request right now and keep calling them,I'm sure you are going to get the NOA2 soon;)
Good luck;)

I already did Emi and They are taking so long >.< But thank you for your reply and I hope soo too Goodluck to you as well and God Bless :)

It is understandable if your Service Center is Vermont then transfered to Texas but being your Service Center is California, It is unusual that your case is not approved yet. Better call USCIS and ask for tier 2 rep so you can follow up whats going on. Good luck!

Thank You Leo and Reyn I Hope  they get back to me soon but I am not sure whats going on they keep saying they are delayed but seeing some of the people its kinda hard to believe they are I think it just depend who is doing our papers and checking the background and all >.< but thank you and I will do my best Good luck to us and God Bless

I have seen so much people being approve and it makes me feel so hopeless that Ours might not get approve. Although I have so happy for everyone who got it because i know how hard it must have been to be so far away from your love ones. I have filed mine since January 31st and They kept telling me it wont get approve after 5months and its almost 6months and they still keep telling me the same thing.  What should I do? Calling the USCIS is not doing anything and I am patiently waiting. Even my fiance back home in the Philippines is feeling so sad being all alone there.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresCan anyone answer this question? Please and thank you :)

The other poster was absolutely correct.  Once the beneficiary has the Visa and enters the US, they can then travel throughout the US without any restrictions.  You can get married in Hawaii, Florida, Alaska or wherever you choose within the US.  The only travel that is not allowed is travel outside of the country.  If he leaves the US before he gets the proper documents, he will not be able to re-enter the country until he has his green card or he gets travel approval, which can be applied for when adjusting status.

Good luck to you and I hope it all goes smoothly.

YAY, I am so happy thank you for the information I can't wait to tell him That is all I need to know. God Bless :)

I agree with the post above mine.  You can travel anywhere in the USA and get married anywhere in the USA.  If you travel internationally, you will not be able to re-enter the US without AOSing first.  DON'T connect through Vancouver, BC!

Domestic travel is 100% ok.  Some folks get married in Vegas, or elsewhere; Hawaii is perfectly acceptable.  Just don't go anywhere that would require YOU to have a passport.

Thank you :) I appreciate the information It helps a lot God Bless :)

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresCan anyone answer this question? Please and thank you :)

I am currently living here in Maui Hawaii, my future fiancé  Michael is in the Philippines. I filed for K1 Visa I129-F and receive NOA1 February 06, 2013.

My concern is, I am moving back to Seattle with my main family this coming June 13, 2013 and I was planing on switching the address over there. However, within that three months that he is here (papers all approved and good to go)  our plan is to get married here in Maui Hawaii. I am not sure if that is okay for him to travel around while having that 90 days grace period to stay before we get married. From my understanding, If he was to get approve hopefully just like the VJ Timeline it says around September so were looking at  arrival around December?

I am praying that when that time comes we are already set in our heart that we want to get married in Maui Hawaii were most of our family are. Can someone please help me clarify all of this because I am not sure if it's okay for him to fly back to Hawaii and we can get married there then back to Seattle, WA. Unless, wherever he originally landed that is where were suppose to get married? I am sorry if its confusing because even I don't know how to explain it well.

ps.  we are not planning on getting married  before or while waiting for the K1 visa papers to get approve. I am praying for our paper to get approve soon. So, our plan is to get Married in Hawaii after all papers are done and good to go here, then move back to Seattle afterwards.

Thank you so much, I really appreciate all your help.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresCan anyone answer this question? Please and thank you :)

If you meant:

Michael receives his K-1 visa later this year, arrives in Seattle, and you both travel to Maui to get married within 90 days of his arrival in the US, then that is perfectly fine. You don't have to get married in Seattle.

Thank you that is all I am asking if it's okay for him to travel to Hawaii within that 90 days period and get married there instead of Seattle. Because we have most of our family back here in Maui Hawaii and this is where we want to get married. After getting married we plan to have our Honeymoon there and stay just for a little bit then back to Seattle to start our life together. :) I appreciate the help I really hope that it gets approve soon.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresCan anyone answer this question? Please and thank you :)

I might be a bit confused but if i got this right: when he visits, your K1 won't be processed and you plan on getting married anyways?  That is immigration fraud and you can't do that.  If you are approved and he has his k1 visa, you have 90 days from his entrance into the usa to get married.

I know its confusing because a lot of people don't consider MAUI HI as part of the US. Unless you read it again and fully understand that our intention is to get married when he received all the approval upon getting here. Prior to that we just decided that no matter where I moved too we just want to get married in Maui where our family is that is when he gets here from the Philippines. No fraud or whatsoever is intended I am just wondering if its okay for him to travel while in his 90 days before we get married. Thank you for replying though I appreciate it :)

I believed as long as it's a straight flight to and from mainland to HI he'll be okay. Wait for the experts to chime in

Good luck!

Thank you, yes it will be from Mainland to Hawaii. I am just concern if we are able to do that then back to Mainland after we get married in HI. But first I just want his papers to get approve. If it's Gods will everything will just fall into places. I appreciate the reply thank you

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresCan anyone answer this question? Please and thank you :)

You want to get married before you have your K-1 in your hand?  No, you cannot do that.  You will be banned from the US for life, and yes, it has happened.

The K-1 is for marrying in the US only, after you have the visa in your hand, within 90 days of entering the US.  You cannot enter the US with your K-1 visa if you are married.

I think you didn't understand but I appreciate the reply please do take the time to read it again :)

It is when he already pass everything in the Philippines and on his way here to US. We are not getting married until he gets here that is why I filed for k1 visa. However, We plan to get married in Maui Hawaii US which is a 6 hour flight from Seattle which is also in the US.  We just wanted to get married there and not in Seattle then fly back to Seattle when were done with everything. :) I hope that make sense

I am moving back to Seattle From Hawaii. The problem is that I have change my address at least twice with the USCIS online change of address. Someone mentioned that if I were to change my address the processing time will delay? is that correct?.

Also, I know that within the approval I have to send my W2 form and recent pay tabs, since I am moving I won't be able to work right away and will be looking at another 2 weeks or so looking for a job. :( I am just stressing a lot with this moving and all and now that our timeline approval is within June-July I don't know what to do.  Although, my parents will be with me during that time in Seattle and will be helping me with the affidavit of support will that be enough to get him pass the interview and such?

Thank you so much everyone, I know a lot of you went through a lot. I appreciate the help

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresChange of Address twice will that affect my approval?

:( I moved twice because of some problem. However, my last move was from Hawaii to Seattle. So I recently change my address from May 9th to the recent one which is here in Federal WAy Seattle. I notice most of the January/February and some later months was being approved and I was wondering why mine is not even being touch or whatsoever. I am just patiently waiting, but then again I have a feeling changing my address twice could have made a lot of difference (someone mention to me that it will affect it).

Does anyone know if changing my address got me more behind or should I wait to call them after the 5month period. Noa1 is February 6th and still waiting for the Noa2. I am praying that my fiancé and I will also hear the good news like everyone else :).

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresHELP I-134 Affidavit of Support Co-Sponsor

Can't remember our exact answer, but it was something along the lines of "My Husband/Wife and I intend on providing accommodation in our house for my son, my son's fiance, and our grandson until they are financially stable. We will also support with any other financial struggles they may come across." Words to that effect. We didn't put any figures or anything down!

I'll 'hopefully' be going over to the states in a couple of weeks and the three of us will be staying with his parents to start with so it really helps out! You could put something similar down. It really helps that the co-sponsors are your parents as with them having a strong relationship to you it shows the embassy that they are more likely to be financially supportive for you both than say a friend or distant relative.

If they are intending on providing any cash amounts or helping with anything specific, then go ahead and put this down, but I think the point of it is to have in writing a promise to be financially supportive.

I would note although that London is one of the most lenient embassy's when it comes to the financial support docs. though so you might want to try and be a little more descriptive. As long as you have enough supporting evidence (I only used tax returns, but you might want to include pay stubs and letters etc.) then I think you should be fine.

Hope this helps smile.png

Thank you it helped a lot i kinda did something similar but hopefully they would accept all the ones we got >.< we got so much documents to show but who knows right

My co-sponsors were my fiance's parents who also had a joint tax return. We just had them fill out separate forms with similar information and then submitted their return along with the forms. In the relationship to you part, we just put "sons fiance"... my interview was approved, so I assume this is correct!

Good luck!

How did you answer this question po >.<

I have some questions that cant be answered with searching alone.

My Fiance's paper got Approve this July 29th and He has an interview this  September 10th. My question is for the I-134 paper affidavit of support I fill one up then my co-sponsor does as well but Since it will be my parents co-sponsoring me their account and tax 1040 is also joint together  I have collected the W2 forms from 2010-2012 as well as their ITR. We also collected our bank verification account and job verification.

The only thing that is confusing me right now is how would i type theirs or them writing it since they are joint together would be in a separate paper and same pretty much answers just different name and since their my parents they would put for my fiance how is he related as Son in Law?

PLease help anybody I really appreciate it i have to send the paper as soon as possible but I am so overwhelm with all of these things :*
