K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	questions, questions, questions!	My understanding is that it doesnt matter who the co-sponsor is just so long as they are an American Citizen or LPR and have enough income. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	questions, questions, questions!	my boyfriend/fiance and i have been planning his permanent move from the UK to the US for sometime now. i am planning on going to law school, them eventually moving back home to New York, i currently live in GA. it makes no sense to go through law school and the BAR and GA, then move to NY. i know that i have to file in the state i live in and we were planning on filing after i graduate from college in '08. so, if i graduate in '08, move to NY and file would that be an issue. i know i would need a co-sponser, but would s/he have to live in the same state i live in? ultimately my larger question is, will i be able to move to NY after graduation and still be able to file the K-1? any tips, suggestions, comments are more than welcome!! thanks!	charmdlamb	Not Telling	United Kingdom	2006-04-30 15:16:00
