Spanglish....Sorry to hear about the rfe You know, I am like what else do these ppl want from us ya know. Just aggravating..but I guess it has to happen ""I feel for you I got one saturday and then today they say I have another but they don't show sending me one last week??????????? Hand in there, I know it sucks."" What did they ask for , if you don't mind me asking? I just wish they had a better system than what they got now. Never give up HOPE....this is what I keep hearing......We won't Insha Allaah!!!! On December 11, 2007, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence and/or information in this case. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the evidence and/or information requested. This case will be held in suspense until we either receive the evidence or the opportunity to submit it expires. Once you submit the information and/or evidence requested, you will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something further from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. I don't even know what it could be...I "thought" I sent in everything that I possibly could and now I am worried. Yes, I did call today as soon as i got off from work, but the officer I spoke to didn't tell me anything. He was nice, but no info to give me at all. He said that he didn't have our case and didn't know what was there. He went on to tell me that every case is confidential, so only us and the officer looking over it can see it. So, now we wait for this letter.....of course during the holiday rush at the Post Offices Any advice..from anyone that has gone through this?? IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	3- RFE's in 5 days	I think their the @#@#@ ....Spanglish, i was reading your post and thought ..hmmm a bunch of really BRIGHT ppl there at uscis, so I checked ours out as well online. You know we recieved that RFE yesterday, but our case also shows a touch today, but our RFE info didn't change from yesterday. It is just really crazy how they do stuff there.....who the heck is running that place there? a bunch of dummies?!! I just hope they do call you back as they said they would...and give you some good information. I just hope that your case get approved and soon...insha allaah!! How long does it take well i am stuck in ap from pakistan , they can say anything but no one can predict the time frame for ap , some one get clearence fastly and some one wait for months and years to get clearence , like i am stuck , wait and be patience u will get approved soon , have a faith in Allah when your stuck in AP, what exactly are they checking on?? just curious Also. why does it take so long for ?? Salaam...& Hello to all, We got an RFE back in Dec 2007 and with holidays, it took a lil bit to get what we needed done. Well, my husband got the document completed and mailed out to me. I should be recieving it in the next few days....Insha Allaah. So, what I was wondering.....once I get it and sent back to CSC, how long would it take to start our case back and get the NOA2? I have looked around and others that got the RFE and sent in their docs or whatever needed & got approved like the next day!!? When I spoke to an officer back on 1/9/2008, she told me once it was recieved, then our case would be processing again and the officer assigned to it will have a look......*sighs* so no telling how much longer we would have to wait Anywho, I'm just curious and just looking for a lil light on this subject. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	USCIS staff being rude	My experience with them has been okay, BUT I did call this past monday and spoke to a CSR and she was "VERY SCRIPTED" you know what I mean. She was just spouting off her script and here I was trying to get a word in .....but ...she wouldn't shut up long enough!!! Of course, I did ask my question and she responded and that was that. It all depends who your call is routed to at that time, but they shouldn't be hanging up on their customers. Sorry that your husbands experience was not a very good one. Edited by ? IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	immigration sucks	I agree as well!!!!! This process really puts alotta stress not only on us here in the US waiting on our loved ones, but them as well. We have been waiting for 8 mths now just for an NOA2, but still nothing. We did receive an RFE around the holidays, so that took a lil longer than usual to get completed and the paperwork wasn't that difficult to get completed. My husband is from Pakistan, so who knows how much longer we will have to wait to get our NOA2 <<watching the time pass by very slowwwllyyy..... I could go on and on, but I won't, cause I know we are not the only ones still waiting and that does no good for anyone. Receipt # WAC Application Type: I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN Current Status: Response to request for evidence received, and case processing has resumed. On February 15, 2008, we received your response to our request for evidence. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. This case is at our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. I am NOT going to get overly excited, because with uscis........we just never know what to expect!!! I called IRS helpline last nite and spoke to CSR and he explained to me. I can either file Head of Household, since I have a son to claim or I can fill out the W7 form and send that to my husband to sign and send back to me, then we would have to paper file of course. Then they would give my husband an ITIN #. No matter what, if your married as of Dec. 31st 2007 then that is your status for that year. So, it would not be single. I usually do my own taxes, but this year I was a bit confused about it, so I called and waited for over an hour to speak to someone at IRS ya know. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Omsbdman office just called omg	Susie, Just a bit of an update.......You know that I had emailed the senators here in Ky....well really all of the reps here. Anywho, I got an email today from Senator Ridleys office and gave me a contact # to call and speak to the lady that sent the email to me. So, I did that today and they were in session, so I left my callback # and so hopefully hear something tomorrow from that office. Also, I received a letter from Mr. Bunnings office and I have to fill out a Privacy Act of 1974 form....and a copy of our NOA1, so I am working on that now. So, I hope something good will come from this. Also, take a look at our timeline and all the darn touches that we have had.........I can't believe it and still no darn NOA2 and we have been waiting since June 2007!! It has been ,,,,,,,over 8 mths and still nothing But we have to have BELIEVE that we will hear something soon!!! Insha Allaah........... *hugs* Aisha-Qasim Edited by ? Back when I had not received my I-130 I-797C after a certain amount of time, I wrote to the Omsdmn office in Washington DC and they repsonded back with the form letter that USCIS has xxxx amount of time to respond. Well just now, some really cool chick called from Washington DC, and said is this so and so, and I said yes and she said this is xxxx from Omsdmn office in Washington D.C. omg i about fainted and said "WAIT IM INNOCENT" - anyways we had a super great chat. She said that even tho Vermont had not responded to their request, she was following up cause she did not see me in the system for the I-130 and I said correct, and she said further but your I-129f is there - she probably knew that I was eating oatmeal at the same time also. She was great, she has another database and said I was not in that either and that she was placing a call to VSC to inquire as to what is going on since the person before me that she called had same date of I-797C and was not in. She actually said she would email and call me back as soon as she got an answer and for the researcher in me, I actually believed her. Step one...... weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee p.s She was so informed and I told her that.....she was my first experience with this process that made me say "OK someone knows what is happening and has the authority to inquire about it. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Twilight zone	Well, your not alone on feeling this way. You just have to keep goin with your everyday life. If you have a job..or kids.....or your family and friends. I think about how to redecorate the house.....for when my husband is here. Just moved into our new home in July and still haven't done much to it, but I want to before he gets here. I keep a journal and I even took up some reading. You could maybe learn more about your SO's culture (you could never know enough). These are just things that could help.......Just stay Positive and know your not alone, there are so many of us that feel the same way you do.
