US Citizenship General DiscussionWife's name misspelled on N-445
My wife's name is misspelled on the form she received notifying her of her oath ceremony. Is an infopass necessary? I have read that there are "resolution desks" at these ceremonies in order to correct typos such as this. Any info is appreciated.

Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussionplease help..

Your list seems to cover everything. You are not the first person to report living with family and not having a lot of financially supporting documents, but it is OK and many people get approved.

Regardless of when a statement began (for the health insurance you mentioned) just make sure to disclose that kind of information and not have them assume that you are only including that because you made a last minute decision. Best practice with USCIS is to be honest, and disclose all information that is missing and why it is missing.

You should be fine!

THANK YOU V333K!

Oops, again..

We also have...

Copies of health insurance bills.
A copy of life insurance for me with her listed as the beneficiary.

These were acquired in the middle of this past summer. It took a long time for us to be insured(health reasons). I am thinking that recent health care may have helped us?

Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussionplease help..
We are about to file for removal of conditions. We will send in evidence, as follows...

Copy of wife's green card, front and back.
Copies of both ids. Me-drivers license. Her-Texas state id. She does not drive, so no car title or insurance.
Tax transcripts from last 2 years.
Joint bank account statements from past 2 years.
Joint credit card statements from past 2 years.
Copies of her paystus from start of her job(October last year).
Copies of my paystubs from start of marriage.
Notarized statements from 3 family members stating all necessary info.
Copies of boarding passes and passport stamps from 2 trips taken to her home country(1 time each year).
Copies from At&t phone bills from every three months since start of marriage. Some with details of phone calls and text messages.
About 20 pictures from various times of our marriage.
Copies of letters and recipes from government agencies and online retail purchases.

We are young and do not make much money. We live with my parents. We have no children because we believe that we need to be more financially secure before we have children. We have a statement in our package detailing why we don't have home/apartment lease, car or car insurance, and children. My parents take care of most bills(we pay their cell phone bill.).

My question is... anyone in a similar situation have any problem removing conditions? Any thoughts from other Vj'ers? After years of battling depression and anxiety problems, I am finally a fully functioning, full time working, repaying citizen, and have been since I met my wonderful immigrant wife.

Please, anyone?

Yes, I believe I need to be patient.

After many stealth attempts of tracking my package today at work, it seems that it was delivered at 3:30 pm.

Without looking in the mouths of horses, wouldn't that mean that somehow a person working for USCIS happened to be there to sign for it? Or do I need to add paranoia to my impatience and anxiety?

I somehow was talked into doing this. I was assured that it would be ok by the worker at the post office. Now, I am not so sure. This added to the fact we only have one more month until green card expires has left me in a state.

Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussionsworn affidavits by U.S. citizen friends
Even if you have paperless statements, you should have access to your monthly activity online. You should at least try to print these out and send them. Copies of your state issued IDs would be good evidence. Copies of paystubs with addresses and listed as married. Notarize those affidavits. Ask the people to write them themselves. They should send copies of their IDs as well to verify the info on the affidavits. Your evidence is pianowire thin. You need more.

I agree with ^KK^. The financial type seems to be the most important evidence. As for your living situation, you should send a letter explaining your circumstances. An affidavit from your relative would go a long way verifying it for the IO reviewing your application. A joint bank account is one of the best types of evidence.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionMy Evidences
1. Is there a rental/ lease agreement? Some type of military equivalent?

2. Affidavits can only boost your evidence list.

Your list looks great. Make sure to send bank statements and copies of bills from the whole 2 year period. You are good to go.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionRFE interview help
My wife and I did not have a lease/rental agreement or utilities either. We bombarded them with paystubs and affidavits, along with every bank account/credit card statement from the first day of marriage. Tax transcripts and boarding passes w/passport stamps as well. Life, Health, and Dental insurance proof... no interview.
Your interview may be what is rumored here on VJ to be one of "quality control". A random selection for an interview. If so, then you should treat it seriously, but don't stress.
Our approval was a week or so before the six month mark.
Best of luck and I hope this helps.

Thank you, kevin and visabird!

To those still waiting...

We didn't have a lease or rental agreement. We don't have any children. My wife does not drive. We sent a ton of financial, insurance, travel, and photographic evidence. We sent 3 affidavits. We sent a statement that thoroughly explained why we didn't have certain pieces of evidence. I hope this can help set some minds at ease out there in November filers land. Your approvals are coming. It's just a matter of time. Don't let the stress of this process effect the balance of the love you have in your relationship. I am living proof that love conquers all.

Sorry if this sounds cliche'd.

Shout out to Gary and Alla, JustBob, and V33k. You guys helped me more than you could possibly comprehend. The advice you give here is invaluable. Thanks to Yurika and Jim. Your help with organization here is appreciated. Finally, a salute to Captain Ewok. May the force be with you.

I would request for someone to update this for me.

I will be back when the card is in hand.

On to (dual) citizenship...

I just got off the phone with an IO from USCIS. He was able to confirm that I have not been sent an RFE or an interview request. He told me that VSC was working on cases up to Nov.15th. This struck me as odd, but hey... at least nothing was lost in the mail. Back to DEFCON 3...

Same here jb_vj. No touches. No status updates. No rfe. No interview request. It seems like it would be mandatory to update online status IF there was any change. I am starting to have serious concerns. The thing is, I have not had a single issue with USCIS until now. K-1, no issues. AOS, approved without interview. I readily admit that my ROC paperwork was not perfect. I have seen similar cases approved without interview. I understand all IOs are different. I have also seen 2 month approvals from CSC. This sucks.
