US Citizenship General Discussion90 days question
Hi everybody,
First I want to thank all people here for sharing their info to others.

My question here is I'm a green card holder my date on green card is Feb-07-2009 this is the same date that I entered US boarder at Chicago airport. My wife she is US citizen by birth and we married at 12-24-2004 in Iraq. So about 90 days in advance for applying to US citizenship, am I able to apply with 2 years and 9 months peroid?

Thanks in advance!

US Citizenship General DiscussionN-659
Hi,

What a great site is this, thanks in advance for read my post :)

My wife is a US citizen, I applied for citizenship, I got a N-659 form with the interview letter.
I have question about some requirement there

1- Your current marriage certification registered by a civil authority
(My marriage certificate is in Arabic and translated from authorize US translator) so is that enough or what is (Civil authority)?

2- Proof of marital union as well as proof of residence (what is that ?)

3- If u have ever been arrested or detained by any law enforcement officer for any reason and (charges or no charges) were filed
(What is that? and is the speed ticket belongs to it, if it is, and I don't have any ticket record about it, from where I can get it)?

4- Because I don't have a job when I came to US so I filled return tax but I couldn’t found it in the IRS web site, so is it ok if I take only last two years or what should I do?

Hi all,

Hope you doing well all of you!

I have a question!, I'm a US citizen and I'm a student now, I want to fill I-130 to my mother to let her get a GC. I'm asking about the I-845, I don't have the enough income to sponsor her also I don't have a cosponsor too. my question is: my mother have a property in IRAQ that worth a good amount of money, it can be more than 5 times that they request for assets.

Can I send documents and proves of this property?

Thank you,

Susan
