Philippines	Any filipinas in OHIO?	There are lots of Filipino's in Columbus and central Ohio. You just have to get out there and mingle, lol. There are two FB groups - PASCO and TOPAS. They usually have events monthly or sometimes weekly. You can meet many Filipinos there. We also have a Bible study group and other friends we hang out with. My wife is from Dumaguete. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Fill out interview forms online or by hand?	I submitted my I-129F Petition last month and am getting prepared for our future NOA2. I'm preparing documents that my fiance will need for his interview, but I'm confused as to whether these have to be filled out online or by hand (specifically the DS-156, DS-156k, DS-157 & I-134 forms)? Also, is it necessary for the beneficiary to complete them or can a highly-knowledgeable petitioner such as myself do it to save time? Thanks in advance. You can fill them out online and just print them. It does not have to be that way, but if they are more legible that will not hurt. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	RFE...will we? if so, when?	Just wait for your RFE. If you are sent one, it will list everything that you need to send so you do not have to guess what is needed. They may be asking for more than you're aware of.... Make sure you have pictures of you and your fiance together. You can send copies of hotel receipts, plane ticket receipts, passport stamps, emails, and phone records. Facebook messages are also valid. Chat or Skype logs are unfortunately not accepted. At my fiances interview they actually pulled out the photos and looked at them. It may take the entire 5 months for you to get an RFE. I filed July 2010 and didn't hear anything for 5 months. I called and submitted an expedited request when my 5 months was up, and that is when they sent me an RFE requesting a copy of my passport. I sent and they received it a week later. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Police certificates	One requirement at K1 visa interview is police certificate from countries you lived in for 6 months. I lived in the US for 5 years, does that mean I have to obtain an FBI clearance/certificate? You will need a clearance if you are the beneficiary. Emails are accepted, because they are verifiable and date stamped. Also, Facebook messages are acceptable for the same reason. Just remember that both would have to be printed in advance for her to take to the interview. They will not allow her to log into a computer, or use a cell phone. You can add or delete anything you want, because they are just text files. Emails and Facebook messages are much more solid. They are admissible as court evidence and easy to verify if needed. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	need advice about path to take	Applying for a tourist visa while awaiting a fiance visa is not a good idea. USCIS will may look at the tourist visa as fraudulent, since the intent all along was to be married. At the least, it will delay things and create additional questions. It is better to go the I-129F route. Spousal visas typically take longer to approve since there is more for the USCIS to validate (e.g. legitimate wedding, documents, etc). However, if she wants to marry there, then you can go that route and apply for a spousal visa. As long as you have proof that you met in the last two years (such as air ticket receipts, hotel receipts, passport, etc.), then the photos will only serve to confirm that, which is good. Since your first petition was not approved, you have nothing to worry about. Even if your first one was approved, it will would not be a problem unless you file more than one withing the same year. I am not sure of what date field you are referring to, but if you mean the date near signature, just put the current (or today's) date.    2. Just list the name of the country. You do not need to put the number of times you visit. USCIS will do a background screen to confirm if the list of countries you list is correct and if there was any criminal report. The number of times does not matter.    3. Always use black. Blue is ok, but it can sometimes cause problems when trying to make copies. I've never heard of someone getting rejected for not knowing about hiking in the US. There must have been something else that gave them a reason for denial. You should get a letter in the mail with the specific reason listed. You can maybe print one for every month you have known each other, or 1 for every week. Either way, it does not have to be a great number of them. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Police Clearance from Lebanon - help!	PLEASE HELP!! A good friend of mine received his visa approval for his fiance. They are in the process of preparing for their interview. She works in Hong Kong, so they are also getting her police certificates for her clearance. She used to work in Lebanon for 4 years and they just found out it will take them 3 to 6 months to get her police clearance from there! I spoke to the Lebanon Embassy in Manila on their behalf, and I was told there is no way to get it any sooner. Has anyone else been in a similar situation? Congrats??kindly share your interview experience..??thank you Hi sis thank you po, sorry na tagalan reply ku medyu na busy kasi I'l  share my interview experience   Jan 23, 2014 @ 5:00am we reached USEM, i brought along my sis kasi i have a 1 yr old baby but unfornately hindi cya pinapasok We able to get inside the bldg mga 6:00 then started the stage 1 process -finger printing (took like 2 mins ) after i was told to sit again for my number to be called ,,,like 30 mins my number appeared on the screen, karga karga ku c baby papuntang window #39,very strict yung officer, daming hiningi sakin ( 1864-i/ birth certificate ni baby/ letter of explanation from hubby since wala cyag file nung 2012 ITR / lates paystubs ) Few questions i remember he asked : * Have you been abroad? * Your husband doesnt have work? * Have you paid for your child's visa application? After the grilling he asked me to sit & wait cz my number will be called again, subra akung ginabahan kasi feeling ku 221g na talaga aku like 99% i was like conditioning myself na God has plans bt ganito ang nang yari, bsta dami kng inisisp while waiting for the next counter then atlast my number appeared #5011 to window #63,  i was like floating while walking towards the window (karga karga c baby) ...i felt relieved kasi subrang warm nang american consul, bait nya she asked few questions & it took like 3 mins, : *When did you & your hubby meet? *When did you get married? *why it took you so long to get married? * Can you show me photos ? ( you & hubby).....hmmm then see said ' everythings looks alright so , you can have your sit & wait ....after that few mins punta aku sa window 79 merun folder na chenick yung filipino officer tapos he gave me back the  appoint letter & told me to proceed to 2go counter...then thats it ! soooo happy talga...iwas sooo suprise kasi i was expectng na 221g na po aku but God is sooo good he gave it na po in His time ....When is ur interview sis? good luck po , just pray & everything will go smoothly Edited by Hopesoon2, 26 January 2014 - 09:03 AM. Questions asked by the pre-screener: -  My name and date of birth? -  Who is my petitioner?  My relationship with him? -  When was the last time I saw him? -  When and how did we meet?  When did we become boyfriend/girlfriend? -  When did we get married? -  Who is the joint sponsor?  My relationship to the joint sponsor?  Do they live in the same house as the petitioner? -  Do we have children?  Where are they? -  Have I traveled or worked abroad? -  Do I have pictures of me with my petitioner?   Questions asked by the consul? -  My name and date of birth? -  Date of marriage? -  When and how did we meet?  When did we become boyfriend/girlfriend? -  When was the last time I talked to my hubby?  (I said "this morning at 3am, he woke me up!") -  When was the last time I saw my children? -  Do I have pictures of me with my petitioner?   That's it!  The interview with the consul (window 62) was quick.  The interview with the Filipina pre-screener (window 32) took awhile because she was arranging the documents and she also double checked the income of my hubby and joint sponsors against the poverty guideline (she has a printout of the poverty guidelines pinned on the wall beside her  ).     Thans for sharing apple ! did you prepare CEMAR during the interview po?
