Europe & Eurasia (except the UK and Russia)Flight question
Hi!

My boyfriend and I are currently trying to find a flight ticket for him
I found two possible options:
1) He comes earlier, but the flight has 2 stops (1st stop in Frankfurt and we would just come and pick him up there so he doesnt have to wait three hours to catch another flight to munich.)
The question is...can ge do that? Can he just not board or will that cause complications?

2)Well the other option is of course him coming later...but that would mean we'd have two days less to spend together. :( this flight is only 7$ cheaper...

I really don't know what to do. The main question is...can ge just not board? Will there be problems with his luggage going automatically to munich?

Europe & Eurasia (except the UK and Russia)Cheap flights from USA to EU
Hi! :)
Me and my boyfriend and currently trying to find a cheap flight ticket for him.
He is from Springfield, MO, I'm from Slovenia, but we are willing to pick him up wherever (Germany, Hungary, Italy, Austria, Croatia)

If anyone knows where I could find the cheapest possible flight ticket, you are very welcome to comment in here.
Oh, and he could also fly from Kansas City, Joplin, St Louis.

Do you think we could find a cheaper flight ticket, if we just directly contacted different airlines or is it cheaper if we book it online?

Thanks guys.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresPrimary Vs Secondary Evidence?
I'm pretty sure about that too. I have written him two letters by now. One for his Birthday and one for Christmas. And he has written one for me. :) We'll just copy those and some more we'll write during the time we're apart.

Actually . . . I prefer letters, they seem much more personal than emails. You have to put effort and time in it, and I always rewrite them at least twice so they look pretty.

Well we're not there yet, but I just thought I could start putting all the things together already, I really don't wanna hurry when we actually decide to petition for my fiance visa. :)
And yes, I think I'll just black out some things, it's the easiest way.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresPrimary Vs Secondary Evidence?
Hey! :D
I have a question about all these skype/messenger/facebook talks.
Is it okay if you just pick . . . an appropriate part of a conversations, because our convos sometimes include some hilarious sentences. Oh and I was wondering if they actually read everything you send, including long letters and stuff like that?

Thanks.

I am not. I just want to make sure what we will have to go through someday.
I don't think it's wrong to be prepared, plus it is really painful to be away from someone you love (which you probably know), and that's why I want to make sure we have all the information we need to get through this as fast as we can.

I feel much better now :) But we still have enough time to get more evidence, we're not even starting our process yet. He is planning on visiting me in the winter so there will be more photos and other kinds of evidence to mail with our I-129F. :D

We bought season passes, we both have cards with our photos and names on them. :) Plus receipts of course.
I also have a question about the pictures. Is it better to include the ones that were taken by others, because we have quite a lot of close-up photos (taken by either one of use or the remote)?

One thing, I can't pay with my card here, because it's Maestro and most places do not accept it. I can only get my money on ATMs, so that's what I'm doing. Plus, they hardly let me pay for anything. When he gets back from work, I'm going to ask him about the receipts from Six Flags, it would be a good thing to have those, since there is my name and his as well on it.

Well, I think there's a lot of reading I have to do on that, before we start our process.
However, I am not sure if we will any soon. :)

Well I have a question about finances. This will be quite a problem I think.
My boy's grandpa has a company and he only works for him sometimes (it's construction so he makes good money) and we will certainly have enough to pay the fees, but since we both only work in our spare time *we are still in school*. Does that mean we will need a co-sponsor or whatever it's called. :)

And yes, we have been to six flags in St. Louis (Missouri). I did not know there was one in Colorado too. :D

I have stamps, also my flight ticket, lots of pictures, receipts from when we went to Six Flags (amusement park).
How can you prove those receipts from restaurant are yours?

Hi :)

I am not quite there yet, we haven't even started our process, but I am a proud member of this site and often just read through things.
This summer is the first time I met my boyfriend, in April I booked a flight ticket and left my home at the end of June to finally meet him. I am still here while I am writing this and won't be leaving until September 22nd.

I had a bit of problems at the Homeland Security, because they were quite sure I was going to either stay here in the US or work here, but everything turned out well, they just told me I am not allowed to work here. So my problem is that they took away my flight ticket (I have an electronic flight ticket and got some copies of it, so this won't be a problem), my boarding pass! And this is what worries me. They took away my boarding pass and as I heard, boarding passes are a primary evidence of us meeting, which would be great to have, but they took it away from me at Homeland Security. Will a copy of flight ticket work instead of a boarding pass? I am of course planning on saving those I get on my way back home.

I am very scared we (in case we ever start this process) won't have enough primary evidence. First of all because we are both pretty young and cannot really afford going to hotels together and fly over the ocean to see each other very often.

I would be very grateful if anyone could write down a list of primary evidence, so I can start saving things. :)

bye, n

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresCOPY OR ORIGINAL???
I am pretty sure that it would be better if you sent your fiance an original document with your original signature.
And about the photos, I've read that they can be printed as long as they are clear (date, location as well)

Good luck on your way of becoming a citizen :) Have an amazing life with your boy! :D

Hi!

I am pretty sure you have already discussed this many times, but I can't find the right topic and I've been wondering this for the long time.
My last name consists of letters that people in the US do not know [KOVA?EC]. Are you allowed to use letters they don't know in the forms or should I just use C instead of ??

Thank you

Well I'm keeping my fingers crossed to. For all of you that are in a process of being with your loved one! :D I know it's hard, and I know how frustrating it gets sometimes.
You will do just fine, don't you ever give up hope!!! :)

Well, since you have lots of primary evidence you might not get RFE.
To me it sounds like you're good. Visa stamps prove that you were at the same place at the same time, photos are just a back up.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresHelp! Visting with my finace' and awaiting for NOA2
It is very weird how some people are lucky enough. It really depends so don't just think you won't have problems because some people did not.
June 28th was the day I landed in Atlanta and went through the customs for the very first time. I wasn't nervous at all, I answered all their questions, but they put me in custody anyways.

After an hour of waiting they started asking me questions about my trip, what we're going to do, how much money I have, what I do in my country and stuff. Then they told me not to work in the US and let me in the country. And it was my first time here, no visa stamps, I'm not in K-1 process or anything.

So just be careful, you really don't want to be sent back home, have enough proof and be prepared for anything. It really depends on the customs officer.

Anyways, good luck on your way of becoming a citizen! I wish you all the best. :D

Yes, her mother can be a co-sponsor, there's nothing wrong with this.
In regards to the evidence, you will need much more than photos and chat logs. You will need passport stamps and boarding passes, maybe some hotel or restaurant receipts.

Tips..huh, be positive and hope for the best. :D haha, if you two love each other strong enough, nothing can keep you apart!
