K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Coping.. How do we all deal with waiting for our loved ones	We skype date (video and chat) and yahoo messenger chat, then after his work we watch movies and series at the same time. Example LOST, Heroes, Walking Dead series, I'll look for DVD copies of the series here in the Philippines and he'll do the same at Colorado, USA then once we got are hands on both movies or series, we'll play it together..watch them, talk about it, laugh about it, etc..we also play games online together play card games online and etc..you can try those too, so you and your love of your life can spend quality time together. My fiance likes us playing games such as Warcraft and Diablo. I hope this helps sorry for my poor english, I'm the beneficiary PS: (to other people reading the thread) If you are a person with a bitter heart, jealous, insecure and don't have anything positive or good to say to me or other people. Please..don't talk to me sorry, I'm kinda traumatized with how people react here on VJ. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	RFE process??	I don't understand?!?!? You got more than one RFE?!? Or you have not received the hard copy for even the first one yet?!?! I have heard that when you get the first email that means that you have just been given the actual RFE and the 2nd email is when it's mailed out to you. The 3rd and 4th one a month later?!?! is that a completely different one after you fixed the first one?? or you never found out what the first one was and then they sent you the other two emails??           All these RFE's are just notice saying we have an RFE but we NEVER had the "hardcopy" since the first notice. RFE 1st email notice: 2013-04-24 RFE 2nd email notice: 2013-04-29  RFE 3rd email notice: Received on May 09, 2013 saying we have an RFE on 2013-04-24 again. Message was sent through email and text. RFE 4th email notice: 2013-05-23, (today) SIGH!!   Man, this is heartbreaking. I just wanna cry! My fiance kept on calling our lawyer and USCIS for the updates and follow ups but no nothing. It sounds like to me that your lawyer may be responding to the RFE's without telling you about it.  It may be that they messed up your paperwork and they are trying to correct their mistake.  You will not know because the RFE hard copy will not be mailed to you, it goes directly to the lawyer.  I read some past RFE posts on these forums where people were complaining that the lawyer made a mistake and was handling all of the communication between the service center themselves and not telling the clients.  Our RFE reply was delayed because it sat on the lawyers desk for over a week (nearly two) before they told us they had received it.  All that time, for two weeks, my fiance and I were waiting for the letter to come to us and it never did, which caused us much stress.     I would call USCIS and get the address changed so that any future communications go directly to you and not to the lawyer.  Should at least give you the peace of mind knowing exactly when you receive the letter and not having to depend on the lawyer telling you (or not telling you) that they received it.     Really?? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	RFE - 20 days???	If you hired a lawyer, that will delay your RFE.  We made the mistake of hiring one and by my estimates, it delayed our RFE being replied to by two weeks, could have been more but I was on them every day to get our reply sent out.     I recommend that you call USCIS directly, don't go through your lawyer; you can call them directly after 15 days if you have not received a hard copy of your RFE; if it has not been 15 days since the date they currently have on the website they will not help you!  Also, I called them after I found the lawyer was delaying us and had them change the address of future letters to my address, this should prevent any future delays caused by the lawyer.  You will need to be very pleasant with the tier 1 person, tell them your story and exactly what you want done.  I told them that our lawyer was not being responsive and delaying our RFE reply and they put me in touch with the tier 2 officer and they submitted the change.  Remember it pays to be courteous on the phone as they can make your life miserable if they want to.     We do have a lawyer, he is not delaying our RFE (maybe he does, I don't know) but all I know is that the whole USCIS system sucks. We have been waiting for 13 days now.. and when i logged onto the USCIS website yesterday, everything on the account was wiped away.. so I don't even know where i sit with our case anymore. It doesn't show a RFE anymore, it doesn't show initial review, it doesn't show accepted.. it is just blank-and that USCIS has no information on our case currently. SOO depressing. When my fiance called them yesterday.. the officer said to take a RFE with a grain of salt. Sometimes they issue them and then cancel them without even sending. WHO knows! Good luck. Thinking about you!   Same thing happened to my friend Anne, she has an RFE also dated may 9, but later today when she checked her status online everything went blank so she's worried like you. I hope USCIS will work on their website ASAP, don't worry the Lord is with us, just have a little faith . I cried 4x today cos of frustration, but all is well now. My fiance is my strength, I just hope to be with him soooooooon! Don't worry too much, check your status tomorrow and see if your case has return. I will also ask my fiance to call our lawyer and the USCIS for the updates, I hope they will give us good news and not be rude about it. This whole process and waiting is really heart breaking, I've waited my share..I just wanna be with my man. We received our 1st email notice on April 24, 2013, 2nd email notice was on April 29, 2013 and 3rd email/text notice was on May 9, 2013 (saying we have an RFE on April 24 again, LOL!). Maybe you should call and verify that your RFE was mailed to the right address. Did the emails mention what you need to send them? Hello Shorty, I wish they would just email us with what's document we are lacking but they won't. Instead, they on keep telling my fiance there is nothing they can do about it and that we just have to wait. I'm worried that this just wont be gonna be our problem after RFE and NOA2, I just read from a thread that NVC is telling people case numbers new timeframe are now 60-90 days. Your timeline indicates that you filed at the end of October, which would suggest you have at least 2 - 3 months to wait. Hello, I "never" said we would do a service request already. I just asked "what is a service request" and what does it do to help people like me on my journey to K1 to speed things up. Do not look and count my timeline cos it'll only look hilarious once you realize that we're just about to be 5 months waiting in 2days. Someone already told me what an SR can do, I am more interested now about writing a letter to the senator or congressman. Maybe you can enlighten me on this one? My reason was the 20 plus pictures i sent did not have names dates and locations on the back. Also i had orbitz documentation that we were going to cancun, they wanted proof that i actually went. So i sent about 100 pictures with all the information and boarding passes and passports and so on. As a member pointed out earlier, I think it depends on the mood of the person opening your petition package. The reason I opened my thread with regard to captions and names behind the pictures is because somewhere in VJ I read that somebody got an RFE for not mentioning the names, date etc behind the pictures, but as I discovered later in a very vast majority of the cases its not a problem at all like it happened in my case. I opened a similar thread a few days back and I was assured that I wont get an RFE. I did not get an RFE and later received my NOA2. "Not sure", but a friend of mine once mentioned her friend got expedited cos she is pregnant I couldn't believe how that could be possible so I asked her again why and she said it's because pregnancy is a crucial time for a woman to be alone specially when she is having a problem with along the stage of her pregnancy, she even mentioned a K1 can ask for expedite even though she lost the baby, cos that's the time she badly needs to be with her husband to be for emotional and moral support. My friend who told me about this is also pregnant, she only mentioned it to me after she's done telling me the story about a friend she knows. Anyway, this friend of mine she is under CR1 and got expedited, but unfortunately wasn't able to use it cos she already gave birth by the time they got expedited. She used the same reason when they applied for expedite, because she is pregnant, not sure thought if this still applies cos CSC is really really slow right now. Good luck, I hope this helps you can try if you want, there's no harm trying anyway. If you get expedite then that's great, if not then it's okay, at least you tried.
