K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	HELLLPPP!!!!change of status in my passport....knocked me out!	Please, I need help! is it not necesssary to change my surname when i renew my passport etc.soon? we are confused. We got married in Alaska last August 22. My husband is from Washington DC and i was a seafarer bound for Alaska. I went home(Philippines) for a vacation and my husband told me use his surname since i'm about to renew my seaman's book and passport. We were asked to do a lot of things in order to change my surname so we started in Alaska and proceeded to Philippine Consulate of San Francisco. we have been waitng for 2 mos.just to get the registration no.but it turned out that it was just an authentication of our marriage certicate. I would like to ask if he needs to notarize the 1-134Form? my frend told me that we need to do this notarizatin or else this will cause of a delay. what else do we need to prepare? what documents should be submitted original? what are the documents could send thru email? your help is so much appreciated.
