Sarah You could try contacting the embassy in the UK....I emailed the embassy in Bucharest and they were very helpful. Or you could try the regional forums here. I think things vary from one embassy to another, so you should maybe check with others who went through the same embassy. I was getting ready to leave for work- i get up early- and called Dave to find out what happened with his interview this morning at 8 am!!!! I figured he might not have been done yet as all the other reviews said it was really long waiting!! and we're donnnnnnneeeee he was approved- im so excited i almost don't know what to do with myself- i'm sure he's just walking around london now in a daze- His response was ' you can go email all your friends that I'll be there by thanksgiving and go post on visa journey to all those friends too' haha Anyway he said it was really straight forward and that he actually got the impression from the people who were interviewing him that they were happy we were getting together- imagine that. With that said we did send an absurd about of supporting documents (4 years worth of dating plane tickets photos telephone bills etc) and had copies of everything and additional documents incase they asked any questions. i'm imaging concentrating at work today will be near impossible!!! much love to everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!! -Sarah	dssb	Not Telling	United Kingdom	2007-11-01 05:38:00

So I got a bit confused today when I went to chage my address online using the US Immigration site- surprise surprise on the confusion. My petition has been approved but our visa is still pendind - any clue where I submit a change of address??? Quite annoying since I will have to do this twice- once now for while I am living at home with my parents for two weeks and then again for my new apartment with my fiance in it hopefully shortly after. You might be able to find this information out at something as simiple as a basic phone call to somewhere like H & R block or googling it. I still haven't received Packet 3 in the mail yet but my fiance got a letter from NVC telling us that the petition was being transferred to London and giving us the LND case number. I waited a week for Packet 3 but then there was the strike so I printed off the scan of packet 3 from here http://www.visajourn...a...y&uid=30186 and filled in the requested documents from here http://www.state.gov/m/a/dir/forms/ which seemed to be more up to date than those on the London Embassy site. I sent in the forms with a copy of the checklist from the scan by DHL Lite courier service. I am glad I did because I have still not received packet 3 yet. The police certificate is important to get as you will wait around 40 days for it and it is valid for a year. The scan will show details of what you need for the embassy. Good luck How do you get the scan for the DHL Lite Courier service? I printed the scan from the link above which is a copy of a package 3 that someone else received. I then filled out and printed the other forms that were requested in the package 3. So i was basing the timing off of that.
