I am so, so so happy for you!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I was freaking out! I called everyone! So what are my next steps. Do I just wait for the embassy to send me the next packet? Or is it NVC who sends it to me? You'll get a letter from NVC in a few days letting you know they have your petitioon and that they're sending it to the Embassy in London. Then the embassy will send your fiance Packet 3, with a list of forms he must complete and some documents that need to be gathered. You'll need to complete the I-137 Affidavit of Support and get the supporting docs for that. Also, if your fiance hasn't ordered his police certificate yet, now would be a really good time to do so as it takes about 40 dyas to get! There's lots of info in the UK forum, so you might want to pop in there and check it out! THANKS EVERYONE!!!!! WHAT A RELIEF!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Darren already had ordered his police certificate and should be getting it this week. I had already completed the I-137 when I started the process so that is all done as well. So I guess I just need the packet 3 from the embassy and we are good to go!!!! Does someone had the number for NVC? So, how long do you estimate it took for the interview once you got the NOA2? Yeah, this waiting is ridiculous. The only thing I can think of is they are waiting for my name/security check. Anybody know how to file of a formal request for service? You have to wait a month after 6 months to do so, yes? Well, that's Sunday. So, any tips guys? My congressman has been no help whatsoever. Once, they gave me the same line that the Customer Service folk did, and the second time I received no response at all. This is what the website says: If at any point your case should become more than 30 days outside our normal processing time, and you haven't received a written decision or update from us within the last 60 days, you can help us by calling customer service and letting us know. We will research your case, see what needs to be done to get it processed, and get back to you with an explanation. CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE????? What a $#$$ joke! I wonder what would happen if the petitioner politely but firmly demanded to speak to a supervisor, the supervisor's supervisor, etc. until they got some real answers. I have the sense that the first level of customer service whether they be pleasant or nasty is no help whatsoever. I would also suggest beginning each conversation by politely requesting the customer service rep's full name and ID# if they have one. That will put them on notice that there might be repercussions if they are not helpful. I see one new June approval that I do not think has been reported. Nadia & Jason. Sent 6-10. NOA1 6-14. Approved 12-13. No RFE's shown on the timeline. That makes 41 for the month and 12 for the week. Bill, I have asked to speak to a supervisor on two occassions when speaking with them. One time I was put on hold for about 20 minutes and the cust serv rep came back and said that all the supervisors were in a meeting and transferred me to an officer who was not even in Vermont. I think he was in Illinois, but I dont remember, and he didnt have any more info than the reps. the second time I got put on hold, waited for like 30-40 minutes and just hung up. And let me tell you, the first lady who said they were in a meeting brow beat me with "they cant do anything more for you than I can", "They have the same info as me", etc, and she said it more than a little rudely and seemed a bit ticked off. Of course, that was my intention. I was giving her hell because she told me that they were working on such and such date, and she hadnt realized that it was outside the 6 month goal. So I was giving it to her about why they didnt update the website, etc. And no, I never told her my case number or entered it into the automated system The same EXACT thing happened to me when I asked for a supervisor. Hang in there Osloratamm! I am not going to pretend I know what it is like to be away from my SO for that long. I can't even imagine how hard that must be. Hold on a bit longer and you will have your approval. You are almost there!!! I got my RFE letter last night thankfully. Phew. It was exactly what I thought. They need Darren's divorce decree.
